Deflate-gate

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

I suspect that the Patriots knew they were reducing the air pressure in the footballs. A QB knows how a football should feel. Using an under-inflated football gave Brady an edge.

Duh obviously they did release air to gain a unfair advantage...

with the league so corrupt nothing will be done about it

 is anyone surprised that the NFL is now 'implying' that the refs may not have 'properly' checked the PSI before the game ...
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Well blame the media...In fairness to the NFL the only thing they ever confrimed was that they were investigating....

Huh??? I blame the media because the NFL has yet to comment...no one from the NFL has said or confrimed the footballs were deflated.
Man I couldn't follow a game that I felt was fixed, pre-determined or corrupt like you do.
BTW don't you think it would be in the NFL's best interest to see the Cowboys win more because of the way they move the needle? Or is it all legit when the Cowboys win??

Sure they have. That's why they're investigating.

No, not me. I've posted as much in this thread. I've quoted a long-time ball boy who attested to as much.

As for the "Duh" from someone else, DEFLATION, i.e., releasing air by the Pats is not confirmed. Only low psi during the 1st half has been confirmed. The difference between these two is enormous and is the crux of the matter.

Where, when...Goodell said the investigation is ongoing...they are investigating because there was a accusation made.

And then today the head of officiating said...
However, Blandino confirmed the results of each ball test were not “logged,”

it's easy for me ... if the result favors the pukes I think the other team lost the game ... if the pukes lose then it's even better

OK I'll play

I would say....if you did a over/under their is
more favoritism towards? the team in question
actually not performing where as the other team
over achieved

bad calls? happen...

it's not the only reason why a team loses a game

The report is out, and it looks like Tom Brady is guilty. I'm guessing a fine will be the only punishment, but there really should be a suspension. Time to show some balls, Goodell.

Excerpts:

Video evidence from pregame of AFC Championship shows McNally detouring to bathroom with two bags of game balls after taking them from officials' dressing room. He remained in bathroom for 1 minute, 40 seconds and then took both bags to field.

McNally took two bags of game balls from Officials Locker Room before start of AFC Championship without receiving permission of referee Walt Anderson. Anderson says that had never happened before in his career.

McNally was interviewed by NFL Security after AFC Championship Game. During that interview he never mentioned taking balls into bathroom. Initially, he stated he walked directly to field.

McNally claimed he stopped in the restroom and used a urinal. Indicated he has used that bathroom near the field entrance while in possession of the game balls "many times." That bathroom has no urinal.

I'm sure Brady was aware that the balls were underinflated. A QB with his experience will know right away when he picks up a ball & squeezes it what the pressure is.

Actually, in the article I linked to, they made a point of saying that all four of the Colts' footballs that were tested were properly inflated.

pisses me off, too... but the fact is, this is all NOTHING but spew.

4 games for Brady, a 2016 1st rounder and 2017 4th rounder. Sure seems like someone thought this was more than just a bunch of hot air.

I'll show myself out.
I know he got a pretty good zip on the ball. He has a quick release. . . once I seen a coupla' throws, I was just like 'Yeah, he's that dude.'"
