You've got to be a little more specific, my man. If you're talking 27 year old UNRESTRICTED free agent Brooks Reed, I 100% agree. I love the way that guy plays. He's young (enough) and underrated, IMHO. It all depends on how much he may ask for. I wouldn't be surprised if he wants in the 3-5M per year range. I could handle the low range with a smaller signing, but wouldn't sign him on the upper end... He's an AZ guy, so I doubt that's who you meant....

Now if you are talking about 31 year old RESTRICTED Free agent Ahmad Brooks, no thanks. We need to get YOUNGER. His #s are in the DECLINE. This is precisely what this organization needs to get AWAY from doing!!!!!!!!

Vernon Davis is also 31, in the decline, and thinks he deserves more $$$ than he should. No thanks!!!

You sign SUPPORT players. You DRAFT stars...... easier said than done, I know, but that's what successful franchises do.
RIP Sean Taylor. You will be missed.

No matter how badly our best-intentioned FA acquisitions go, it never takes long for someone to buy into the hype again.

If we get Brooks, do we also have to get Dunn?

Only if they are planning a new tour.

Brooks & Dunn would be a hit in DC .... for sure
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
