Signing Dallas free agents...?

Post by tribeofjudah »

How do you feel about this? I hear some talk about Dez or DeMarco. They are stud players......but I feel like puking in my mouth. And then again, business is business.

Frankly, it just doesn't sit well with me (but that's just me). What do I know...?

Danny, just sign the checks plz.

Besides the fact that they are Cowboys their cap numbers would be astronomical and for that money we could fortify multiple positions.

No thanks.

Two positions I don't want us to spend any money on, personally, would be WR and RB.

What I hope we are concerned about is Oline Dline and safety. Not necessarily in that order. I think we can survive at other positions for a little while. If any of them come from Dallas I don't care. I'm desperate at this point.

No longer will I get emotionally wrapped up in them. It's a silly game that is entertaining and nothing more.

Dez Bryant is probably going to be rated the best reciever in the league since Megatron did not have a good season. His contract would be huge. I heard rumors that the pukes would rather secure Dez then Murray. Also the Adrian Peterson could replace Demarco as the starter.

Either way we should just focus on building up our Oline, Dline and we already have recievers and a running back.
Sean Taylor starting free safety Heavens team!

Agree 100%. Those are literally the last 2 positions we need upgrades in. Don't get me wrong, Dez is incredible --- we just don't have the need and could use the MEGA $$$ elsewhere.
RIP Sean Taylor. You will be missed.

I would be VERY reluctant to pay big $ for a FA RB. Their shelf life is too short.

 where on earth does anyone come up with the idea that this franchise is likely to be 'big' FA spenders in the near future

that is what we used to do - there's been a clear message out of Redskins Park the past week - you cannot build a franchise that way

we're not building this franchise through free agency - were building through the draft

some of you guys must be totally out of it if you're thinking that this GM is focusing on any expensive free agents
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Dez will not be leaving Dallas. If they can't keep both, say goodbye to Murray: he'll be coming off a 400+ carry season, is only 2-3 years (if that) from an inevitable decline, and plays a position that is more easily replaced with the next guy up.

I don't want either in DC. For one thing, Morris is a better RB. And while Dez is great and a better all-around WR than anyone we've had in years, he's also kind of unhinged. We got lucky enough that DeSean Jackson hasn't yet been the locker-room cancer that Eagles fans promised us he would be. How many times do we want to spin the chamber and pull the trigger?
