Now that Dallas clinched, I'm guessing they'll play their scrubs against us. I'll take another win against them.

Let's hurt em either way. Make it a "body bag" game for them, not us.

Only two things worth mentioning this season
Beat clownboys in the jerrydome
Knock beagles out off playoffs
Lets see if we get a W next sunday to have 3 things worth mentioning

Oh absolutely.
I had forgotten that Dullass might want to play for a higher seed...so we might see their starters after all. That would make it so much sweeter if we won.

I don't think so, I think there is a shot that they can still get a first round bye.

They can. Its one of those win + a couple different scenarios of other teams losing. I'm hoping they come to play and give us their best.

Just amazing what 1 game can do - we play Tampa and everyone is distraught ... we lose to the giants and there's discussion about how this is the worst ever Redskins squad ... now we win 1 game and suddenly things are not so bad ...
this is still a terrible group and we need to change the way we do things if we going to build a good team that can be in the playoffs year in and year out .. PLUS - even with a change at the top, it's going to take a couple of drafts, at least ...
but we do have an idea that just maybe Griffin is going to become the QB a few of us thought he would be
i can hear it now - just before the 2018 season, we'll be speculating how great Griffin would have been if he could have had the same O line back in 2013 and 2014
it's a lot of fun the week after a win and we have so few of them .... especially in December

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Great game. What a great feeling to win!!! Griffin looked like he took a giant step forward, Agreed?? I have very optimistic feelings about the Dallas game ending in a Skins win!!

Dullass can clench IF they beat the Colts.. hopefully they get killed and WE get to send em home for the playoffs next week.. Philly would have to beat NYG too.
so we hurt em but they arent out yet
I've seen this a few times and maybe it's on purpose but ...
Clench is what a Cowboy might do if he's browncapping and desperately running for a bathroom.
I'm thinking you mean clinch.
Looks good to me.. dullass and clench go hand in hand! Lmmfao
Having clinched, dullAss will clench when they see how fired up our boys are @ FedEx. I hope they are naive enough to start Ohno and we are jacked enough to make em pay for it; and get all our aggression out for the disappointing season.
A battle of epic magnitude, win or lose, that drains them and equates to ttit losing the following week- is sufficient for me

Dallas needs Seattle to lose, and GB and Detroit to tie to get the #1 seed. Not going to happen. They need Seattle, Arizona, and a GB/Detroit tie to get the #2 seed. Not going to happen. I think they'll rest their starters for the final game.

You're missing a scenario: "The best chance for the Cowboys to clinch a first-round bye in the playoffs is if Seattle loses at home to St. Louis (the Seahawks are a 13-point favorite) and Arizona loses on the road at San Francisco."

I'm really not sure that the conversation has changed the way you're suggesting. I know you're out in California this week.

This is definitely not what is being said in DC this week, sorry.
I think people are just enjoying that game for what it was. A much needed WIN against a team that we hate. There's just very little else worth taking from that game.

Agree, with an additional caveat for a few individual performances. Breeland looks like a legit long-term starter with the potential for an occasional game-changing play. I doubt I'll soon forget the sight of Trent Williams trotting up to the line of scrimmage with one arm limp. And of course 50+ yard completions to DJax never get old, and we got to see two of them in this game.
Little individual memories like that help me appreciate what was otherwise a miserable season.

With you 100% on that. I was happy to see Philip Thomas delivering some hits as well.
Re: DJax, I've been reading a little today about the Skins needing to make a decision on Garcon because of his big cap number next year. There's a little bit of "we have Jackson now and don't really need Garcon". Does that strike anybody else as nuts? Garcon is a stud, and Roberts hasn't been nearly as reliable.
I was also reading today btw that a lot of Eagles are REALLY bitter that DJax isn't on the team anymore. Especially after he personally eliminated them from the playoffs. LOVE IT.

one of the few good things about this season is the progress of some of the younger players especially in the secondary - we need to get more younger guys in here and let them all grow into being a team together
I hope we have a big youth movement this off season - it's going to take a while to build this franchise back into a contender again

Here is the article from dallas news:
http://cowboysblog.dallasnews.com/2014/ ... ound.html/
* The best chance for the Cowboys to clinch a first-round bye in the playoffs is if Seattle loses at home to St. Louis (the Seahawks are a 13-point favorite) and Arizona loses on the road at San Francisco. The next-best chance would be for the Cowboys to win and the Detroit-Green Bay game finishes in a tie.
All of their scenarios are still kind of longshots and a little bit confusing to read.

Garcon being gone next year would be a major step back. He is big enough to handle the #1 role. With out him we don't have a #1 receiver.
Re: Post Game analysis Skins v. Eagles
The 'plan' here is not so much about what we need for the short term but more importantly who is going to contribute to our success in 2016 and beyond - we have so many issues to resolve and in the past it's been a big mistake by the guys in charge to try and be successful in the short term and not so much for what we need to do to build a franchise that can compete for a playoff spot each season
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance

Yeah man, that's pretty much what I was thinking. I thought he was one of the best FA signings of the past five years, kind of annoyed to hear talk about him being released. We just went through a long stretch where we didn't have two quality WRs. (I actually had to use google to remember freaking Josh Morgan.)
