Positives?

Post by BossHog »

In a season lost, I guess the only thing left to do is find any positives that there may have been. Here are miine for the Saints game...

Brandon Winey. Protected the blind side as well as Samuels has all year... maybe even better. Great job by him.

Trung Canidate. Way better running from Trung and didn't the offensive line look like a totally different unit when RUNNING the ball. 6+ yard average is pretty darn impressive.

Tim Hasselbeck. IMO, Mr. Survivor has definitely earned the #2 job for 2004 already. He made some mistakes sure, but he also ran the offense very well... sometimes BETTER than Patrick.

Champ Bailey. Champ was a positive you ask? Well yeah, because it was going to be tough to get him the $$$ he thinks he deserves and he continues to prove that the Redskins are correct to be so hesitant to pen him to the huge contract that he wants. Sunday's game was sooooooo bad that ANYONE who had seen it couldn't possibly tag him as the best CB in the NFL. His leaving will be tough, so better that Redskins faithful realize just how over-rated he is.

The only other poitive that I have is that there are only 4 games left in this disappointing season.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

Isn't Samuel's contract up this season also? Or is there one year remaining?
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.

Here are my positives:

1. Hasselbeck can move this offense. A quality #2.
2. Winey stepped up. Bright future?
3. The O-line is providing better protection.
4. Less audibles worked for Hasselbeck (did you see that Patrick?)
5. Champ's stock went down dramatically. and

6. Those wimpy Cowboys lost, too!

I thought Winey did really well. That one play that the commentators showed Winey blowing up D. Howard was awesome.
