SkinsJock wrote: Redskins would have scored a TD but Gruden made a decision that put them at the 4 instead of the 1.5yard mark that is a bad call by Gruden - he did not want them to score obviously
It was because it would still be 1st and goal, rather than 2nd and goal.

Oh, this is the most ridiculous horsesh*t call I've ever seen! This is just as unbelievable as the fail mary. I can NOT freaking believe this!

Love the run by RGIII. He looks relaxed and composed today — very different than the last few times he started.

That explanation was ludicrous. Where did he "lose possession?" That tiny, barely-noticeable wobble? This is freaking stupid!

The call is justified. He lost possession and never regained it. It is just our luck.

I saw the ball come loose on the replay leading into the commercial break, and I said "uh oh."

That missed TD will bite us in the A. The defense has to get a turnover in the second half.

When you notice how fake it is you notice the fix. As bad as it is, it is hard to win when facing the refs and the other team.

No. Bad call by the refs. I've seen much worse get a pass when it's a WR and they're judging whether it was a catch. Just a terrible call.

OTOH... all those Bengals doing the "show me the money" gesture is pretty damned funny...

Heh. Well, I've seen it all at this point so the RGIII touchdown call doesn't bother me. We've played a good game today up until this point, and our guys are clearly still passionate. Just a few positives near the sunset of a terrible year.

How'd you like that back-in-college-chuck-it-up-the-middle INT Jonny threw? This ain't college, kid.

It is very clear that Bob has been focused, and has learned a few things during his "sabbatical"... certainly, very positive work for him, today... let's see if he can finish... that NFL intervention for their butt buddy Mara will, no doubt, make this more difficult...
Show some heart, B&G...

I can't believe that we held them to 3 after that onside recovery.
