Sooooo... we can't play together as a team because Dan Snyder.
Yes. Very much so. The owner of an organization sets the tone. He sets the precedent. And that intangible ideal permeates throughout the rest of the organization.
Think of it this way. Have you ever troubleshot a computer before? What's the process that you abide by? Your answer should be the process of elimination.
~~Computer won't turn on?~~ 1. Check to see that the power cable is plugged in. 2. Check to see that the surge protector is turned on. 3. (To keep this short) Check all physical connection. 4. So on and So on...
You start with the obvious and you work your up the ladder to the most complicated reason that could be the source of the malfunction. So let's equate that to the Redskins.
My point is that. We've changed EVERYTHING. Everything has changed, multiple times and some more often than others. But there's one constant in this situation. Dan Snyder. So if we were to troubleshoot this issue, he'd be the source of the problem.

the problems here are not the scheme, HC, QB or the O line - the one constant is Dan Snyder and his negative effect on everything
I think the Redskins can re-build the franchise into a contender with Dan Snyder as the owner but Snyder has to let the guys that know what it takes to make a plan and build a team, be in charge of the whole thing Snyder has started to bring in people that can manage things but he is still in charge and he is still influencing an attitude that is pervasive
nobody really knows how well we would have done with the high draft picks we gave up for RG3 - the draft is really a crap shoot we do know that the trade for RG3 would not have been made by a good personnel guy - you need lots of picks, most don't work out
I know AJ Smith is not liked or respected by many but he is a part of the Redskins FO
Dan Snyder is most likely not selling his franchise soon, but his franchise would be a lot better off if he did not get involved with the FO
Dan Snyder needs to start thinking and acting in terms of this franchise rather than HIS franchise
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
