Painful. Ditch Griffin? No, no. Stop looking for the magic QB. Get an OL and a DL. Next year. You gotta have heart. You gotta have hope. Don't sit around and mope.

Exactly. Need a RT, guards, and for just one time in years, a decent set of NFL caliber starting safeties.

Not saying RG3 is the answer at QB but this team is flawed so badly that drafting another QB and putting him out ther is just setting him up for failure. We're not just a QB away...

^ the qb carousel has never worked here, idk why people think it will now. Just imagine if every qb who ever threw 4 or 5 pics (which robert has not) in one game would have been benched.. sheli gets no rings!
The qb position here is an impossible role to fill when the oline is so porous. People will say thats an excuse, but while robert holds the ball to long, hes already getting hit before long enough- and missing TW our best lineman didn't help at all today

Griffin seems competent, and can improve. The OL and DL seem hopeless, as now constituted. I stick with the Joe Gibbs Principle: give me guys like Joe Jacoby and Charles Mann (and maybe a defensive coordinator as good as Richie Peitbon) and we can beat anyone. Don't need an all-pro QB.

Good point as Gibbs won 3 SB with OK QBs but none were a superstar.

Also three different primary runners, BUT only Bostic at center.

Or, consider this: what is the name of this site?

Griffin is hardly competent right now. Holds on to the ball way too long, doesn't go through reads, doesn't read the field well - didn't see plenty of open receivers today, missed Jackson not once but twice on deep balls when he was past the defense and open. We have lots of problems and that includes having an incompetent qb.

Those long throws looked good to me.. just a little long. Djax at least isnt getting undwr thrown.

How can one survey the field and read the D when you are getting hit as soon as you snap it?

Jesus what were you watching!? Those long throws were way off...our other qb's could hit Jackson in stride (well McCoy may have under threw him sometimes, but the completion was still made), Griffin wasn't even close.

And he couldn't even connect on basic check downs yesterday. But yeah, fire Haslett and draft a o-line.

Conses is that we need a O line and don't need superstar QB to win, lets trade RGIII for an O lineman. Maybe throw in a coach or two as well.

That is entirely on Haslett my friends....but some one this board still defend the guy. I'm not saying he's the entire problem, but he is a big problem and needs to be on the unemployment line after this season.

Gruden pretty much said as much in the post game presser, that play was entirely on Haslett.

lol Did you notice Kory getting push into the pocket like he wasn't even there? He's too small. Good lineman but too small.

Man, its been a few weeks since I've seen anyone even half heartedly defend Haslett. He cannot keep his job after two seasons like this.

You're a troll because you're the type of poster who only shows up here to bitch about the team and heap piles of negativity on us while all of your fellow fans are watching and suffering through that horrendous steaming pile of crap "performance" we all watched. Its trolling. Hope it was cathartic for you.

I hear you guys. But we just drafted a RT (Moses) and a guard (Long) last year and have another guard we drafted (LeRib) sitting on the bench. How long are we going to keep drafting offensive line before we get an offensive lineman who can freaking play?

I'm really discouraged about RGIII after this game. I think he's received an unfair amount of criticism at times, but he was terrible in this game and hasn't given me much reason for optimism. I heard the radio guys interviewing Shawn Springs today, and they asked him point blank: would Colt McCoy have scored more than 7 points? yes. Would Colt McCoy have been sacked six times. No. Would Cousins have put up more than 7 points? Yes. Would Cousins have been sacked six times. No. I hate to say it, but I completely agree those answers.

I don't think McCoy or Cousins are legit answers at QB by any stretch, and I know what you're saying about the magic QB solution. But damn, 27-7 at home vs. the 1-8 Bucs?

Yeah, Haslett is middle of the road. When he has glaring holes he can have a really good day when you wouldn't expect it, but for the most part is ordinary or worse.

Heck man, I wish he could stake a claim to "middle of the road".

Not trying to start another Cousins vs. Griffin debate, but why is the book already written on Cousins when he hasn't started more than 16 games yet?
