Puke QB, Tony Romo, has 2 fractures in his back

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Puke QB, Tony Romo, has 2 fractures in his back

Post by SkinsJock »

HOWEVER - it looks like he may be able to play ...

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

He does and he played well. Loved it.

I totally understand your disdain for a Cowboys player, and one as polarizing as TR, but in the end, even if you dislike the man, I really think you have to say he is a tough dude.

I have no disdain for Romo. He is a good QB. I have immense disdain for that owner: Romo should be allowed to recover. No excuse to risk more injury.

For a baseball analogy:

- the Nationals force a pitcher to a slow recovery after Tommy John surgery. Did it with Jordan Zimmermann, Steven Stasburg, and Lucas Giolito. No taking chances with health even though it might help the team win a few games

- the Braves spaced out Tommy Medlen's starts the same season Strasburg returned. Medlen pitched almost all season and tore his arm in 2014. In fact, I think the Braves lost two starters to TJ this season. That's more than unusual. Meanwhile, the Mets let Harvey delay TJ surgery, tried "rest therapy" at the end of 2013, had the TJ, and now plan to pitch him on long rest all through 2015. Harvey is stubborn, but that's wrong.

To repeat: Romo is a fine QB. I wish he played for the Redskins, although I don't trust Dan Snyder any more than I trust Jerry Jones.
