It’s official: Tim Hasselbeck will start at quarterback in this Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints at FedExField. The team signed rookie quarterback Gibran Hamdan from the practice squad and he will serve as Hasselbeck’s backup.

To make room for Hamdan, running back John Simon was released.

I like the move and would prefer PRam sit as long as necessary to get him back to 100%
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.

I like the PRam move... I meant dropping Simon.

We just have this habit of adding and dropping 2-3 players a week... ask Jake... he's keeping the transaction log. Why not just put Sultan McCullough on the IR instead? What's he gonna do for us this year?

They seem like moves for the sake of making moves to me. How many times was Bedell cut? Did guys like Mitch White even make it out to the practice field?
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.
