Re: Gameday Thread: Patriots-Redskins
Do any of you see any similarities between Seastrunk and Giovanni Bernard?
Re: Gameday Thread: Patriots-Redskins
Seastrunk got sizzle for sure, lots of potential esp if he can catch the ball. helu looked very good. That was the first I've seen McCoy, that guy has got some talent! You could see the confidance from the first snap he knew exactly what was going on. We are very lucky to have him, do you guys think we'll have both Cousins and McCoy at the end of preseason?
The defense was fun to watch again, Kerrigan and Rack are just gonna tear up some teams this year. They are incredible, I feel fortunite to be able to watch them.
There were a couple guys playing in the 3rd and 4th quarter that impressed me, #46 Campbell (?, I might have his name wrong) was wrecking things properly and a #45 that I couldn't catch the name, was always around the ball. Those guys had good instincts and know where to be.
Morris thinking that he needed to redidicate himself and felt he let the team down last year is amazing to me. I can imagine the effect that he must have on the rest of his teamates, truely leading by example.

Re: Gameday Thread: Patriots-Redskins
What do you guys think about Zack Hocker after that game? I've found it hard to believe that he could possibly beat out Forbath up to now. But he's making the kicks and there's no doubt his kickoffs are better. Looks like Forbath has a real battle on his hands.
Also I know Seastrunk was in there late running against some of the long shot guys, but even so, that speed he has is impressive. Might be risky putting him on the practice squad.

Re: Gameday Thread: Patriots-Redskins
Being in NJ, I can't wait to watch games on TV so I can actually see who is who without the announcer telling me. That said, Seastrunk has some WHEELS. Haven't seen that from a Washington RB in a long time. I really want that guy to make the final roster.
How much would it suck to be a linebacker facing a package with Seastrunk, Reed, and Griffin on the field? Time for new running shoes.
