My first fantasy draft.

Post by ii7-V7 »

I joined one of those free Yahoo leagues since I didn't want to pay to learn. I choose 7th out of ten. Here is how my draft went.

Ahman Green
P. Manning
Travis Henry
Lav. Coles
Todd Heap
Baltimore Defense
Jimmy Smith
Issac Bruce
Byron Leftwich
Larry Fitzgerald
Steven Jackson
Deion Branch
Paul Edinger
Anthony Becht
Seattle Defense

Thats it! Only 15 rounds. Unfortunately I only drafted one kicker....so I don't know what will happen the week he is out on a bye week.

What do you think?

looks pretty good, IMHO. I think Leftwich might be a surprise this year. Travis Henry is pretty good, although he may have to share a bit more this year with MaGahee back there with him. And as far as fantasy QB's, who better than P Manning. Throw in Heap and you got a pretty good starting Offense.

i'd drop Bruce and Becht and pick up another RB and QB if you can...... Steven Jackson might not even get any playing time this year and bye weeks and/or an injury at one of those positions will kill your team.... you can win without a backup TE .... but it will be harder to win without a backup QB or RB.... IMO ;)

I see your point about the RB position, but I think that Leftwich is a pretty good second QB.

I'll have to see who's willing to bite on that one.

Larry Fitzgerald's value just went up...i just heard on the dan patrick show that anquan boldin hurt his knee in practice today...

preseason injuries is one reason my league is doing it's draft labor day...just a bit safer i think...
