I think the "fight" is still in them; just poor execution. Hesitant to write this, but our defense has done pretty decent against the run tonight.

At least St Louis will have an awesome 1st round draft pick. Something that we can't even at least look foward to.

Well, realize the 49ers offense is horrible. It is dead last in the NFL in passing...so this is one offense we should show up well against....

But the Redskins offense is just horrific tonight. Especially the offensive (offen-sieve?) line...

I wasn't praising them. Just saying that they're nothing to complain about. They kept us in the game but the offense hasn't done a thing.

FYI, I didn't see that as praise, CLL. Just noting that the 49ers passing offense is really pathetic...until tonight. And yeah, another sack. Lol. This offensive line should give back their paychecks tonight.

This team is horrible in EVERY facet. I hope that next year works out better than this mess.

Our line is worthless.

One thing I don't want to see is Shanny trying to pick up the clean end of this turd in his presser. It is what it is. A whippin'. Shanny built THIS team. They are his players. We've not been decimated by injuries. His players and his scheme are getting blown up. It's on him to coach this team out of this mess.

The quick screens and A Robinson bombs are really getting overused. Bob has been under throwing all night. He has to have nightmares about this o line

The way he is going to get our qb killed I wouldn't mind him breaking a leg, #payback

I have a feeling the Skins will be on a few year ban from national televised games.

I think Shanny needs one more year to show what he can do without a cap penalty

That O-line is dangerous for any QB. RG3 should fake a viral flu through December so he doesn't get seriously injured.

This. He's been coaching with a handicap for a while now. These aren't the players he wants, they're the best he could get with fewer resources than every other team in the league.

I am amazed at people that believe that the culprit to this dumpster fire is the cap penalty!

You guys should cup Shanahan's balls a little closer.

I had hoped so bad this would be one of the wins we could get this year to shut up the closet 9er fans that have surfaced since last year. These coaches have no answer for any team its pathetic! Wth didn't know Kap was going to pick up the first w his legs? We let McCown do the same crap all day!

How much better will this team have to become to be a competitive team next year. I don't see this team progressing much any time soon. Just get use to siding with a loser. There is nothing to look foward to. 22 years of misery and counting, what is another decade.

Some folks are easily impressed... The penalty forced him to choose between receivers or bigger athletes on the o line... Ether way, he's pretty much screwed... He went with receivers, thinking he could finesse a couple of years out of the line...

We were down by 24 last week and started to come back. Let's see what we do with a deficit of 21.

An extra 2 seconds per snap in pass pro... One more corner who can cover in man... One more quality safety... A solid and FAST ILB...

Sadly, I am with you on this. I do hope though. I gave up on this season after losing to the Eagles for the second time.
