Re: Redskins @ Eagles: Game Day Thread
We need a lot more speed at the LB position.

Ummm and that's what Bob will be working on this offseason since he missed all of last offseason rehabbing..... Do you know anything about football?
LMFAO....Still with the excuses about the preseason! To funny!

He's had 2/3 of a season to "work on" that. Off-season is not as productive as on-the-job training. I like Griffin. he's a good running QB. He is NOT worth what he was paid and is not worth the future picks. Sorry.

Our passing offense has let us down again.
And Nick Williams... Umm ok. That's not good.

Why even try to talk to a person like that? Have we not learned lessons from former trolls?

Finally....some logic. We gambled and lost big time. There was a reason the Colts never blinked an eye at RG3. All the butt hurt RG3 fans continue to blame the off-season. RG3 is straight up Vick 1.4 not even 2.0. We have Morris, Kerrigan...and a whole lot of rebuilding to do (still).

Ur right Chris I'm usually pretty good at ignoring em... the thing with the QB position tho is practice and reps which takes place during the off season. I'm done arguing with the "experts" tho NO more

Hopefully we can get something magical goin here for I gotta keep my optimism up somehow

RG III is not Andrew Luck, never had been, never will be. A very different player to Luck. Never worked in a Pro offense, never been a pocket passer so you're always going to have teething pains with him. But he he can add those things to his game with time which is the upside you have. If you didn't draft RG III what would you have done at #6?

I think Griffin is pretty good at running. But, he's no great passer by a long shot. If you want a triple-option/college scheme, he's perfect. He is not a very good passing QB. At least I haven't seen it.
But, overall, the team is screwed. It's hardly much better than 4 years ago. You're bound to pick up a player or two that is better than what you had. This team has regressed since Shanny & Co. took over. They had a good month last season and that's it. They almost killed Griffin trying to play his gimmick. His gimmick was harder to stop last season. Now he's not even 100% and even if he were, he's not a great passer. They lost all kinds of future picks and much-needed holes to fill elsewhere. The coaches are sub-par to boot.

Yes but remember to mask some of those holes they also "lost" $36 Million Dollars.

We are a few players away from where we need to be, but we ARE better off after four years of Shanny than we were previously. Yes, our coaches have made mistakes, but they have upgraded the roster. Before Shanny and Allen we had Vinny. I don't understand how anyone could forget how bad he was.

Re: Redskins @ Eagles: Game Day Thread
Quick question.
If the offense doesn't score any points at all this game. Is it still the defense fault?

Re: Redskins @ Eagles: Game Day Thread
Foles is clearly ahead of RG III with regard to play recognition and reading defenses. Of course, FOles is reading OUR defense, so....
