Hognostications Week 5

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

;furious; New England?
Baltimore-Miami...I give up.
Philly over NYG; guess I wanted an NYG win too much to realize that they REALLY, REALLY suck.

Yes, they do. But the refs were totally jacking them on the calls. Had they been playing anyone not in our division, I would have been thrilled, but damn, those calls were blatant. Anyway Philly always beats them in NJ. I just couldn't let myself believe they would drop to 0-5.

I was utterly perplexed by this week's results. I feel like we are watching a new NFL come into existence. Out with the old, in with the new.

Well we ALL missed the Jets. 8/14, missing six, roughly average. I'll take it.

I had STL. Too early for the good teams, and STL is bad, but JAX is HORRIBLE.

I'm looking into it.

They don't show now. When did they last show?

Tell me what your picks were and I'll see what I can do.

That sounds familiar. Don't expect any sympathy from this crowd.

Why would I be sympathetic? I told him there were no games last week...

Okay!

I have discovered the problem - but I have no idea how to fix it. I may be scrooged; in fact, I probably am. Somehow I signed in last week with an account (remember my initial sign in?) that was NOT BRD, but Sean Stewart. My picks this week went on the same account. Thing is, I have tried repeatedly but can't seem to sign in on the original BRD account.

Sigh. I hate being an idiot...

someone needs to find a way to get BRD's # to 52 or we just have to 'track' it ...
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Since BRD simply screwed up, I am inclined to just let things ride.

I forgot to get a Thursday pick in and it cost me 1 game. My sole objective now is for BRD to figure out how to get back in. In the meantime, if you PM your picks to me I can make them for you.

I will PM you now for tonight's pick.

I see the Sean Stewart picks for week 5. I'll see what I can do but BRD is in 7th place anyway so just keep picking well for now.

No way am I "tracking" as SJ suggests.

BRD:

I duplicated Sean Stewart's picks under BRD. You have CHI, right?

Try to figure out how to log back in as BRD. You can reset a password, right?

52? You lost me SJ. DM, I am really sorry for all the drama, and I don't want to create more work for you or anyone else (besides me that is) by tracking my weekly picks manually. If it has to be done tell me what I need to do and when I need to do it, and I'll handle it okay? Thanks.

EDIT: Working on it. Fingers crossed everyone, please.
<tightens dunce cap and strides determinedly out of room>

2ND EDIT: Okay, I'm back in. New pword is logged and written down elsewhere, and one final apology for my boneheadedness. I guess I'll just take the hit on Week 5; that'll learn me. (uhh, probably not but one can hope, right?)

It's kinda nice to have these bye weeks built into Hognostications now.

This is the bad part of online ... blessing and curse.

I will not track but may be able to do a retroactive thing in this case because of the online documentation.

In the meantime, I will copy Sean Stewart's picks to BRD.
