Actually, Adidas got fined. RG Jr. Jr. won't pay a penny of that $10,000.

So you think Adidas will send Griff an additional check for $10,000 after he pays his fine? Or maybe they built in that amount already to whatever they paid him in the first place? Or maybe they send him a monthly check and the next one will be for $10,000 more than usual? Or some other scenario?

I couldn't find anything where it said Adidas would pay the fine, but I remember reading that about the previous fine he got for covering up the Nike logo. I did find an old article where Nike paid Michael Jordan's fine from the NBA when his shoe colors didn't match. I can't imagine Adidas would do any less, especially with all the free publicity they are getting out of this.
