Fine. It appears that the concensus is that there is no future for Tavaris Jackson in Washington, while there are at least some possibilities for Pat White. In order for you to find a negative reaction by fans to the possibility of Tavaris Jackson to be inconsistent with our non-hostile response to the signing of Pat White, you MUST see the two as pretty much the same.

Frankly, I don't understand how you could be baffled by our response, otherwise.

^Not baffled ... more like humored. Anyway, here's the latest. Hope he shows enough to make the team and/or help us.

Pat White - QB - Redskins

The Washington Post notes that fourth-string QB Pat White's biggest problems in camp have been his confidence and anticipation.

Beat writer Mike Jones has observed that White holds onto the ball too long and lacks ideal arm strength. He's been thoroughly unimpressive through the first few days of training camp. White has little chance of making the Redskins, and his preseason play will determine if he gets a shot with another team.

Doesn't sound likely... sounds like he's not even an effective camp arm.

fortunately for Pat White - his potential opportunity here is NOT as a QB - never was

btw - T Jackson has ZERO opportunity with the Redskins and especially NOT as a QB
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

That's what I thought when they brought him here... except that he has ONLY worked as a quarterback so far.

That we've seen... Nobody saw the read-option until Week 1 either. Who knows...

^^+1 was hoping to see White used a little more dynamically but who knows what might become of him...I'm just not as "creative" in my thinking of him as I once was. Hopefully he can shine in some area of need for us.

I'm halfway there. Although... I'm feeling less sure that the other half will pan out.
