I can see White as a special team or utility player - Thiesman was a punt returner, not toi mention him being backup punter lol, and its time for Rex to seek other oppertunities - trade maybe?
Cousins is worth his weight in gold right now, think about it. He is for sure a loyal RedSkin.

Shanny seems happy with what Pat White has been doing. Not that I'm really expecting much from this kid, but who knows what kind of conditioning this kid will have.
Either way, he's a great practice squad guy for our defense. Just because of curiosity, I'm looking forward to seeing White take some snaps in the pre-season games. Maybe I'll get surprised once or twice.

RG3's knee is still a bit of a concern but from all accounts, RG3 will be ready to go by game 1 ...
my point was that if they decide to have 3 QBs it will not be based on RG3's knee ....
BECAUSE
We all know that Cousins is a great back up QB and White is not looked at as being a QB in the near term
so
IMO we keep 1 of the other 2 QBs ...
Kirk is the back up here this season but this franchise may have to trade him - he's a good QB - he deserves a shot to start

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Man, we're going to be sick season long. Every time he gets hit, I'll be holding my breath.

I wonder how people feel about White and if he's being categorized correctly. Are we expecting 2nd round talent out of White because he was drafted there in 2009? Or are we judging him as what he is, a third string QB? I don't believe that the media is judging him under those conditions either. I'd expect MOST third string QB's to look like crap, lol.
IMHO, I still think White makes the team as part of the evolution of this offense. Kyle stated in an article that he's staying ahead of the curve, because obviously defensive coordinators are trying to close the gap. I think White will be an EMERGENCY QB. EMERGENCY QB only. However, his role in the offense will be wildcat like. There are some 2 QB offense's in college. I dunno if Kyle will go that far or integrate anything like that, it's just speculation on my part. However, White is athletic and could add another dimension to the offense. To simply my point, due to our CAP penalty, he'll potentially be a very very poor mans Percy Harvin for us. Not that they're the same player, just in regards to him doing some gadget like plays.
And we'd still keep Rex but not dress him on Sundays. He's the mentor.

They won't trade him until RGIII makes it through 2 seasons without major injury, if they're smart.

Four QBs? I highly doubt it.
I'm not saying I'm right. This is my...ugh...this is my wild stab in the dark that I'm going to stanby until the bitter end. LOL
That being said, to reply to your point.
I'm not thinking of White as a QB. I'm thinking of him as a gadget/option/wild-cat/package-specific player that in an absolute EMERGENCY can play QB. He'd be our Brian Mitchell. IF RGIII went down and then Kirk too, White would finish the game. Rex would then be activated to either starter or backup status, depending on how good/bad White has looked.
Again, I'm not counting him as a QB. This is my wild assumption into what I believe the Skins are really using him for.

I could see that, but then Rex would be gone for sure. We need the roster spot too badly to use one on a player who would most likely be there, if we needed him, anyway.
