I dunno, the Skins have had trouble with the Pack in recent years. Of course, we're all looking for things to be WAY different in Skins land, starting now, but the Packers have been tough.

I see some similarities on offense with the Skins and the Pack, now. Solid veteran QB, (although Favre is elite), great RB, stud receiver. We'll see soon enough.

And Jake, I like the Green Bean Peckers story. I'm glad my Mom is not on this board, for fear that she might let the cat out of the bag about how I used to mispronounce "Firetruck" when I was learning to talk. Of course, I was 17, but that's a whole 'nother subject...

Heh, welcome. My favorite Redskins Monday Night game was the one with the Packers. Packers were overmatched, so they went on 4th down almost every time and ended up winning with each team scoring over 40 points.

I live in Upper Michigan in Escanaba. There is another poster on this board from the same area. I hate the lions too!

I go to school in MI, and let me tell you it's pathetic how few people follow football up there. Just because your team is horrible doesn't mean that you drop it--the people in MI could learn a few lessons from the Redskins fans of the 90's, if you ask me.

Best fans in the league.
