there are 16 MLB franchises whose TOTAL payroll is under the amount that the Yankees are paying to players who are starting this season on the DL
AND
that DL list is made up of ONLY 4 position players and 1 pitcher

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
