I don't know if I like this or not. Its always good when something bad happens to the Cowboys, but Carter is awful and I was kindof hoping to see an awful QB on the 'Boys every time we play them. I dont know how much better Vinny will be at his age, but I'm not sure what to think about this one....
Hah- it is kind of funny though. Yesterday or two days ago on ESPN I saw carter talking about how he was sure that he would start, how it was his job to lose. Great work
Ah
- I'm curious what everyone else thinks so I'm going to add a poll here

Washington Redskins fans know and understand football. They want good football. Expectations here are very, very high. That's good.

Alright guys, Quincy Carter might not be one of the best QB's in the league. But by no means does he suck. He was EASILY the best QB on the 'Boys roster and this is great news for the rest of the NFC East. Although Quincy's not the greatest passer, he can make most of the throws he needs to make and he is very mobile which is why I'm personally ecstatic he was released. He can take a potential sack and make it a five yard gain. I mean, would you guys rather face Vinny " Hes still playing?" Testeverde or QC? I'll play against Vinny T anyday.
There is no way this makes them anything but worse. I am lowering my season record prediction for them to 4-12. Once Vinny goes down, they will be a total loss for the rest of the season.

I can't wait until we play them.
Actually, I thought they brought Vinny in to start in the beginning, but this adds a whole new wrinkle to the discussion.

I have a source that's now telling me that he didn't fail a drug test, but was rather found to in possession of a controlled substance at the Cowboys facility.
Oh man, he's doing it in the dorm. You know other players on the team had to be involved.

8. I think Bill Parcells might actually coach out the four years in his deal with Jerry Jones. When we spoke yesterday at Cowboy camp, he was ebullient. I never thought I'd see the Jersey guy so happy in California, but practicing out of the broiling Texas griddle agrees with him. "What's great about it,'' he said, "is you got guys concentrating on getting their work in instead of just trying to survive the day. The learning environment is better."
QC is gone, and the 'Girls appear done, but, is there any chance they land a strting QB from the waiver wire? Pick-up a free agent? Anyone still out there?
I don't see how this could be good news for the pukes. QC was OK and they did have some time invested in him. I too will be curious to see if man boobs picks up another veteran QB to compete in camp. I'll also be curious to see where QC ends up....Philly backing up McDuck?
God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.
We'll miss you, Joe.
I hear Jeff George is looking for work. And Danny Weurfel (sp?) is out there too. G. W. Bush will need a job come November, and he lives in nearby Crawford, but he's had his own cocaine problems in the past.

That team in Texas spend the off season trying to improve the offense with the idea that the cokehead would be the starting QB. Vinny was signed to mentor but both Henson and the dude with the running nose but now he'll have to open the season as the starter considering he's the one that best knows the offense but again the offense was built for a mobile QB and Vinny is anything but mobile Drew is year(s) away from being ready but may be the starter by week 4 and by then Vinny should be out of the hospital (someones going to kill him within two weeks of the start of the season.
I dont know how it could get any worst for the team in Texas unless they resign Leaf or Hutchison. If Vinny does make it past the first few games then we know he last game as a professional will be 9/27/04 and he and Aikman will have someone in common (#56)
