Or the refs had called a remotely balanced game.
Right? Two different missed PI calls on the Browns and a 15-yard taunting penalty on Garçon? Just ridiculous officiating; glad to see us overcome it yet again.
This "most penalized team in the league" thing is such bull. We have been the most penalized team in the league through three different coaches including a hall of famer and a future hall of famer known for his teams being some of the most disciplined teams in the league.

The coaching staff showed their worth today. They made good calls, made good adjustments at half and took care of business.
I didn't hurt that KC played a very good game.

I know this isn't what you meant, but this coaching staff has been showing up for weeks and weeks now.
I know he got a pretty good zip on the ball. He has a quick release. . . once I seen a coupla' throws, I was just like 'Yeah, he's that dude.'"
I love that the announcers in the 'girls and steelers game were saying that the dallas win creates a three way tie atop the east. No, in fact it does not. There is a first second and third team, even when the records are the same. Say MY TEAM'S NAME [female dog]. They are in first. Show respect where it is due.

This is just off the top of my head: "Illegal shift" in Giants game, "leg whip" in Giants game. "Blow to the head" vs Carolina that was ih Cam's chest The false start today where the defender was moving, the phantom whistle in the Carolina game, the phantom whistle that stopped the Wilson TD in the Cinci game.....yeah, the refs have been on my bad side all year....I won't mention all the times I see our Dlineman getting held with no call...it makes me too angry.

Shuler??? Frerotte??? I fear you are serious.

Might have lost. Highly doubtfull, but that might have happened.
Win out and we win the division! Home playoff game!!!

And 104.4 QB rating

I think Mark Rypien in '91 (SB 26) might have been the last Redskin QB to start every game. Can't remember details of all the Frerotte years (result of head-butting a wall at a Giant fan's house).
Nothing wrong, long-term, with having a possible HoF QB start while backed by someone who could start with most other teams.
- the coaching is pretty good
- something is building...like discovering that Lombo, Shark, and Moore can fill in for Werth and Morse, and the Nats can still hold a lead in the division.
- This Redskin team is notg only likable, but good and getting better. (Imagine drafting a CB and safety).
- Big contributions from guys that Bruce Allen drafted...not just from Haynesworth-like free agents. Shows the scouting system has improved.
- Most of all: the Redskins are not "Robert Griffin III and some other guys". Think of London Fletcher...the seasons and games played, he's banged up, and he snags an INT.

I spent the last couple of years arguing with my bro-in-law about why Kyle Shanahan is our offensive coordinator. He insisted that Kyle had no talent and no other team would have him; he retracted that today.
We all saw RGIII come in and turn this team around, but to see the team put up a 17-point win not just without RGIII but with a guy many people thought was a wasted pick has to change some people's opinions not just on Kyle, but on the team, and the management (Bruce Allen etc.)
So much for 3-13 predictions!

Washington Redskins center Will Montgomery has a sprained medial collateral ligament in his knee and right tackle Tyler Polumbus suffered a concussion during his team's 38-21 win over the Cleveland Browns. Polumbus had not missed a snap during the 2012 season prior to Sunday's game and will need to pass the league's concussion protocol before being cleared to practice. Montgomery will undergo an MRI, but is hopeful to not miss any games, the Washington Post reports.
on a brighter note, did you see that replay in slow motion of Cousins doing his progressions? He calmly scanned left to right before throwing for the first down. Not sure if it will be next year or the year after, but we are going to get some good draft picks for captain kirk =) And I think he is going to be a very good QB in this league...

I really think that we keep Kirk for another year or 2, them flip him for picks. Like a 1 and 4 or a 2 and 3
