Exactly.. we split w NY so did they, say we own phili so did they then split w them that's a tie, and same record in the scenario I wrote. BUT NO will crush them next week so its probably a moot point, so long as big Ben can do it up in dullass

I could care less about the pukes winning
I'm one of the few that would rather "win" the NFC East than have some other team 'do it for us'
I'm with JSPB who called it way back when - 7 in a row
better that the Steelers lost - we just need to take care of our own business
NOT have some other team do it for us

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I don't get the concern. If the Redskins win out, they are the NFC East champs... period. The Redskins are now in control of their destiny. Come on, people... enjoy it.

+1 - totally agree
10-6 would mean we are the NFC East Champs - HOW great is that
that is a huge deal for this franchise
we are still getting there and these guys have done a lot better than anyone could have reasonably predicted
many here should just enjoy the ride

Besides a Week 17 win, we also need one of the following:
-Week 16 win.
-Giants Week 16 loss.
-Giants Week 17 loss.
Same for the Cowpukes interestingly enough.
EDIT: In other words, the ONLY way the Giants can win the division:
-they win their final two games, AND
-whoever wins Week 17 loses in Week 16.

To win the East we must beat the Cowboys.
Current probabilities:
We are suddenly at 66.5%.
We are 53% to be the 4 seed.
We are 3% to be the 3 seed.
We cannot get a bye.
The most likely scenario is Washington hosting Seattle.
They've knocked us out twice recently ... at their place. Payback would be very nice.
There is an outside chance we could host an NFC title game.

Actually, we can clinch a playoff spot THIS week with a win and ALL of the following:
NYG loss @ BAL (possible)
CHI loss @ ARI (possible; both teams crap now)
MIN loss @ HOU (unlikely)

I see them this way:
NYG loss @ BAL (very possible)
CHI loss @ ARI (very improbable)
MIN loss @ HOU (very likely)

Yes ... but not the division. We must beat the Cowgirls to win the East.
Why is VIK losing @ TEX unlikely?

I'm REALLY hoping for the following NFC playoff seeding
Falcons
49ers
Packers
Redskins
Seahawks
Bears
we just need to win this game, this week

Yes, I want the team to make the playoffs, but I SOOOOO want the team to win the division. How good would it be to go into the Cowboys game knowing we are in the playoffs, but the winner of that game wins the division!
Talk about meaningful December football!!!!!
I also want to host the CHawks! It would be nice to play them at our place. Maybe our PA guy can figure out how to leave the speakers on amplifying the crow noise like they did to us the last time we played them in the playoffs! I'm so sick and tired of the NFL letting them get away with that.
