I was kinda surprised to see RG3 nominated ahead of Morris. Both had decent games but I thought the run game had more influence on the win.

The public is in love with this kid... he's exciting... and hugely likable. Confident without being self-absorbed... all about work, but still having fun...

I think that give him bonus points to add to his performance.

... and, he DID have 73 yards rushing.

RG3 has earned RoW for wk 1, 4, 6, 11, 12, and 13.

Alf won in wk 7.

So if your counting. The talley so far is:
RG3 - 6
Luck - 3
Alf - 1
Wilson - 1
Muscle Hamster - 1
Rechirdson - 1

Redskins - 7
Rest of the NFL - 6

The fact that RGIII wins over Russel Wilson who had a great game in an upset win over Chicago and Andrew Luck who put together two touchdown drives in five minutes to beat the Lions says a lot about where he is in the race for Rookie of the Year

I mean, this was what we'd call an "off-week" for RGIII statistically

I really expected Russell Wilson to do much better... Luck, otoh, was largely responsible for the hole that his team had to climb out of... Yes... great comeback... but it was his fault that the comeback was needed. RGIII does not have bad first halves... unless, of course, the D can't get off the field, as last Monday.
