Ah....missed that. Thanks.
No problem. Was from another link anyway.

I know it is south and west of St Louis, close enough that people drive to St Louis to buy ingredients...then create meth labs in their homes. The cooking fumes harm kids, and sometimes the labs catch fire.

I can't remember the name of the county so I won't pick one.

TOTALLY agree - I mean how hard is it to not take drugs that you KNOW might get you suspended ...

ALL players that make choices that result in hurting the team deserve to be suspended

actually it's probably best if they do get suspended because who wants really stupid players making really stupid decisions on the field

STUPID, SELFISH players deserve to be suspended

I hope the players make him aware how stupid AND selfish he is
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Despite someone's mentioning it earlier, I had no idea the suspension was for adderall. Assuming C Grif doesn't have ADD, what is really the benefit of taking Adderall with respect to playing football?
I know he got a pretty good zip on the ball. He has a quick release. . . once I seen a coupla' throws, I was just like 'Yeah, he's that dude.'"

taking any cerebrostimulant, such as this one, will improve your focus, concentration, and reaction time. A cornerback WILL play better.

who cares - ALL of the NFL players know which meds are allowed and which are not ...

who cares what harm OR good the drugs do? THAT is not the issue .. if you use a drug that is banned by the NFL you get suspended

the player gets fined and WORSE - He really hurts his team ... STUPID

I appreciate your singular focus SJ. But I asked the question because I cared about the answer to what good the drugs do vis a vis playing football. I didn't have an argument to make w/r/t whether it was a banned substance, if C Grif should have known/is responsible for not knowing/taking them anyway, or whether it was stupid.

As crazy as it may sound, I just wanted to know.

Thanks, CT and MS for answering.

sorry - it's just so frustrating - I heard an interview the other day on Sirius XM with a player that felt he needed to take this drug because he thought it would help him to focus during defensive meetings ...

he said it was a stupid mistake ... he said he's not even sure it was a help ... he had to sit out 4 games

I'm just pissed that so many of these guys are so talented athletically and so stupid mentally

I take Ritalin. I'm a 29 year old guy. It does help focus, big time. And it IS allowed...
Even if it does, the players union has tried to warn its members that substances like Adderall are banned unless a player receives a therapeutic-use exemption from the league. That process includes a review of an A.D.H.D. diagnosis by an independent administrator and other specialists.

ADD drugs help people with ADD concentrate, and that's allowed. ADD drugs help people without ADD concentrate and that's disallowed?

I heard something about his locker being cleared out and his number being given out to a practice squad player on ESPN radio. If this is actually true or not I can't say.
