sorry skinsfan - I didn't mean to hurt your feelings ...
give me a break - you're obviously mistaking me for someone that gives a damn ...
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
I remember that "horse collar" play. I argued with my father-in-law that it want a horse collar because he didn't pull the player down backyards. The refs agreed with me but the league agreed with my father-in-law.
Still don't think the play was illegal.

I think the league is looking to provoke him. Seriously. There is a pattern of increasing bullying by the league of players to bend them to their will. I suspect the goal is to transform the game into something that is far softer than the game we see today... and down right gentle in comparison with the game that I grew up watching... and loving.
It makes me sick.

I agree with you, too. Not even close to a horse collar.

I cut Hall some slack on those plays because the guy's ankle is clearly bum. Even then, he's still better than the alternative. All we can do is hold on tight for the rest of the year and try to fix in the offseason.
I'm hoping he wants to try out for safety next spring

Past whom did Boldin jog for the over-the-top TD? Tell me it wasn't Hall.

Ha!
Yes.
That play was on Madoo doo Williams. Hall had decent under coverage, if he had gotten ANY safety support Boldon never scores.
After most big plays, you see the corners looking at Madoo Doo like--dude where are you at?? SMH
It seemed like every big play on Sunday, Williams was out of position. The Raven's first long run he over pursued and had a horrible angle, missed assignments on pass plays....he was more horrible than usual, which for him, is saying something.
I'd be stunned if they cut him .. which is what this thread is about
I hope he'll give safety a shot next year ...
I very much doubt he's back as a CB
