Playing on Baseball Diamond...?
Guys, what do you think of NFL games being played on MLB Diamonds?
Is there disadvantage on the dirt portion?
Can they quickly sod it...? I know it costs money
I know it gets muddy during rain.
Must games be played on it...? No other options?
What say you..?

RFK comes to mind... I miss the spirit that lived there. So many modern stadia have no soul. If you ever watched a game from the bouncing endzone stands, waiting for Mike Nelms to take a kickoff, you understand.
Yup... they get muddy as hell... players would trip over the sod lines...
Yup... they'd sod them... sometimes it would root... other times, it was just a loose piece of carpet, waiting to cost a running back his footing. It was just part of the game...
