DB Jordan Pugh tweets that he's a Redskin
It appears that the Redskins have made a signing to replace injured safety Jordan Bernstine on the 53-man roster.
Jordan Pugh, a sixth-round draft pick of the Panthers in 2010, tweeted the following from @JordanPugh29:

Pugh, from Texas A&M has played in three games for the Panthers, two in 2010 and one last year. He intercepted one pass as a rookie. In his two seasons, Pugh returned 11 kickoff for an average of 24.5 yards.
Bernstine made the team as a seventh-round pick. He suffered a serious knee injury against the Saints on Sunday.

Some work still needs to be done in FA and the Draft.
Several positions still need talent and further depth. Safeties and competition are needed here.

Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

Agree at the safety position. Williams made some pretty aweful plays. I am actually still upset about the 4th down TD pass that Williams completely screwed up on. He was totally out of position. He also had a costly Personal Foul penalty against him that was totally unnecessary.
Gomes did have one of the biggest plays of the game with his INT. Personally, I don't see us getting bettter players in FA this season, so I think we are stuck, but should be a consideration in the draft or a FA prior in the offseason.

RIP Sean Taylor. You will be missed.

in fairness to the team, they were put in a bad position withRedskin in Canada wrote:Some work still needs to be done in FA and the Draft.

1. their best player (a safety) getting murdered
2. their other safety and a very good player in his own right unable to stay healthy.
neither was their fault. it's hard to rebuild an entire team and also have to now rebuild the one position they thought they were solid at.
