Rate My Fantasy Team

Post by The Hogster »

Was I gambling too much at QB?

QB: Robert Griffin III

RB: Arian Foster
RB: Matt Forte

Flex: Willis McGahee

WR: Vincent Jackson
WR: AJ Green

TE: Fred Davis

DST: Steelers

K: Matt Prater
------------------------------

BE: Adrian Peterson
BE: Desean Jackson
BE: Tony Gonzalez
BE: Miles Austin
BE: Andrew Luck
BE: Lagarrette Blount

Honest opinion. I went with 2 rookie QBs because I think one or both of these guys are going to perform this year. I got them in later rounds.

QB: Robert Griffin III Hopefully that's an inspired choice!
RB: Arian Foster Not sure how well he'll do this year, better than most though
RB: Matt Forte Quality back
Flex: Willis McGahee Interesting...
WR: Vincent Jackson Big year I reckon
WR: AJ Green Consistently good
TE: Fred Davis I like Fred a lot
DST: Steelers Why not...?
K: Matt Prater Can't get excited about kickers....------------------------------

BE: Adrian Peterson
BE: Desean Jackson
BE: Tony Gonzalez
BE: Miles Austin
BE: Andrew Luck
BE: Lagarrette Blount

Strong bench the whole way down.

Gambling on the rookie QBs has given you plenty of strength elsewhere, but there is the chance that they'll both struggle.....

We will see how this thing plays out. I have a good feeling about McGahee with Manning in Denver and with Moreno coming off of injury.

Solid RBs and WRs.

I hope the best for Robert....

My first thought was this was a mistake. But then I thought, well, to win these you have to take some risks. I like going for the win, not just having a decent showing. So since you took them later, if were able to stock up on non QB stats and one of them pans out as a rookie, it's a pretty decent shot.

I'm looking for a little fantasy advice for my non-THN, Yahoo league. I have a flex W/R/T position to fill in a tough matchup, that I really want to win. Unfortunately, due to injured starters and bye weeks, I'm having to fill this position out of the FA market. Some choices I have are:

Pierre Garcon
Santana Moss
Pierre Thomas
Mark Ingram
Chris Ivory
Jacquizz Rodgers
Logan Paulsen
Danario Alexander
Tom Crabtree
Chris Givens
Malcom Floyd
Rashad Jennings
Ryan Broyles
Jermichael Finley
Donnie Avery
Anquan Boldin

Should I go with one of these guys, or is there some fairly obscure player who is up and coming that I may want to look at?

So you ended up w/ one of the ebst QBs, two of the top RBs, and one of the top WRs. Nice.

I'm first place in my league going into the final 2 weeks. RGIII is obviously the #1 QB.

Adrian Peterson--who I drafted thinking he'd be coming on around now--has obviously been a beast for me.

Arian Foster is Arian Foster.

But, I'm most proud of the fact that I got RGIII in the 7th Round and I picked up AJ Green and VJax who are 1st and 3rd respectively. I assumed Fred Davis would break out, but my backup Tony Gonzalez has been Top 3 all year.

We will see how this plays out.
