I really hate to sound like SJ, but these office guys (and the Shannys) are bringing about a whole new perspective on what it takes to earn a job in the NFL.
no worries - welcome

not long ago, players we cut would find it hard to get another chance ....
we're getting there

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Armstrong traded for rb Steve Slaton who played for Kyle in Houston and was picked up by Miami after being hurt.rk3025 wrote:rk3025 wrote:rk3025 wrote:rk3025 wrote:Willie Smith was offered PS on Saturday if not picked up;has been cut along with Hightower,Favorite,McNally,Jones,Thompson, Austin,Worthington,Crompton, Bellamy,Compton,Kehl,Johnson,Holt,Garner and T Davis

I do like this, but I admit that my feelings are based only on the fact that we drafted him, and the film of some of his highlights in college football were good. I have no clue how he has performed either at camp or in preseason, but we need young blood at the safety position.
Most of all, we need some playmakers in the backfield - hope he repays the faith.

Does that mean our back up OT will be release by some other team today?
I reckon so...
or do you mean Wreckon so, because is we go into the season with Jordan "Opening a helth Spa" Black as our only back up at OT then we are one injury away from disaster.

LB Keenan Robinson --Zac Boyer
OL Adam Gettis--Rich Campbell
S Jordan Bernstine--Aaron Wilson, Carrol County Times
Also, per , the Redskins have informed LB Bryan Kehl that he will be released if the Redskins can't trade him.

Wait a tick, if Bernstine made it, then does that mean that Reed is out?
I know he got a pretty good zip on the ball. He has a quick release. . . once I seen a coupla' throws, I was just like 'Yeah, he's that dude.'"

Lol.
No, I said some time back that I believed we'd pick up an experienced lineman if a suitable one became available after the cuts.
I still think that, so lets see what happens as the day develops.

Yeah, I think UR right and our game day back up OT will be released today by another team.
Of course if they don't see anyone they like better than Compton or Smith they could always bring one of them back to the 53 man.

Yeah, I think Compton needs a year on the PS for sure.
But Smith I'm disappointed in, he had some growing pains last year but generally held his own against some good players. I thought with a proper pre season behind him and that experience to draw from he'd take it on a level or two, just hasn't happened for him apparently...
