Cousins has been lighting it up with the deep ball in practice as well.

So has RGiii.. let's not ignant here fellas.

He threw one deep ball in preseason, that flew 70 yards. They WANT Cousins to look terrific so we can get some value when the time comes... And they want to give our opponents nothing on RGiii so he can shock the world- in games that count.
220 yards on the ground is what I was stoked to see,
And of course BB with a hellava game even w a good run called back and bad handoff for a fumble he had a lot of total yards tonight.

3 names that helped themselves in my opinion tonight:

Banks
Armstrong
Gomes - not that he was a bubble guy but played lights out tonight and all preseason.

I would say Crawford but he's played really well and I expect him to make it anyways.

After listening to shanahans post game qa session, where he discusses the decline of the return specialist over the past couple of seasons in the NFL....think the writing is on the wall for bb.

Thats a lot to gather from him agreeing with the world that the KO rule has hurt the position..
BB is still a threat and game changer at punt return even if its getting higher shorter kicks and kicks ob.

He ALSO caught a 47 harder, broke a 42 yard run.. and of course had about a 20 harder called back. He is a threat on O as a reverse play, screen, and especially the go route- even if its not thrown to him. His speed is something you can't teach, he commands respect and if that leaves Garçon wide open underneath that's all he needs to do.

Cooley hurt my feelings, Gano kinda left me scratching my head, BB being cut would makemme doubt the FO.. especially watching him take it to the house for another team.

He's in the Hester league as far as returning and even when they know what he can do he still pulls em off... Not always for tds but for great field positions. I'm sick of defending one of our play makers every year, and pointing out the obvious... I hope Shanny does the rightthing.
-interesting how well he did being used as much as he was tonight, didn't see anyone elsefielding punts either.

Did you actually watch his post game presser? Did you really conclude that or are u just trying to stir the pot? Seriously. I'm not talkin crap or anything I just find it strange you post that but.leave out where he said he could keep both BB and AAA... And directly after saying return guys have lost some value, "not to say you don't want a GREAT returner, because when they get their chance like we saw tonight, they can be a game changer".

He also mentioned BEST 53 a bunch,

Presser

http://www.redskins.com/media-gallery/v ... da041b7b4a

Mentions Royster spraining his neck..
Neither him or Helu being 100%...
And being down to their last back in the fourth quarter.
Having 4 backs might he exactly what we need the way they get hurt so often

I simply stated that, 1. from my attendance at training camp and 2., watching the preseasons games that Kirk has a better feel for the deep pass. RGIII's inability to connect on the deep passes has been written about a lot by the local media who attend both the public and private practices.

Sir, there's no reason to get butt-hurt over facts. Nobody was ripping RGIII and if you had read further down, Hogster and I both agreed that RGIII's accuracy would come in time.

Yall are a real emotional bunch lately.

Ignorance is not knowing... So I'm going to need facts from you, to prove that you aren't "ignant". So, please show me a practice report stating that RGIII has been accurate. Most I've read state the opposite.

And while, I wait... I'll provide my proof.

I love that we have RGIII. But let's not get to the point where we cannot constructively criticize his weak points. His deep ball accuracy is NOT there YET. He's not as comfortable under center as Luck OR Kirk Cousins. It's going to take time but he will get there.

Back to a more analytical note. I'm disappointed that the coaches didn't rotate Briscoe in on a special teams, he was listed on the ST depth chart...

I think the coaches need to get banks more involved with the offense, he has great hands - i can recall just maybe one mishandle last year and those balls are crazy stupid to catch when tumblin - so it is something else giving him fits when he is on offense. That is the coaches job to figure out what to do to make things right.
Everytime he touches the ball he can take it home. If the RedSkins coaches can't figure out how to utilize him i am sure another coach can.

I wish tampa bay had a better team, that was a cake walk and the boys ruled without working up a sweat. The defense was incredible, hazlit has done an amazing job - they were ready!

So, I reread your post and noticed this. Don't worry about giving me proof because it's clear that you haven't even watched the games. He threw 1 deep pass? LMAO. He threw 3 against the Colts alone! LMAO

Hey RIC, you're sounding like the troll (poster)

If you have heard Lavar recently, he is not impressed either.

One can argue that the lack of production is due to the fact that injuries have plagued most of our RBs, or the OL is not opening holes, or just being the preseason, but I would say that we do NEED a reliable running game and we are in the hands of a rookie (as good as Morris might truly be) and a committee who has been injured to help RGIII.

I am not impressed but the real season hast not started. We shall see.
