I would take Megatron but they better offer more b/c that's not enough for Barnes. I'd throw in their starting RT and then we'll talk about it.

Actually, isn't Cherilus supposedly in the dog house? I can't imagine that being a straight up swap, but if they are intending on cutting him anyway... maybe.

There was a lot of rumors out there that they needed depth on the corners b/c of injury and that Cherilus was expendable. Most thought it would've been the Jets they traded with but you never know.

ESPN 980 is reporting that the trade is rumored to be a draft pick.

That's the general speculation is that it's a late round draft pick.

Not bad getting any pick for a player AFTER they have informed him that he was being released because of special teams issues. :D

Vinny would have told Mayhew "we've already released him. I think maybe we should throw in a pick because you're helping us out" :explode:

Of course it is. At best a 6th rounder.

In typical fashion, the skins are trading one of their 1-3 round draft pick players in exchange for a 5-7 round pick. They really get a nice return on investment.....

The only good thing is that he was a product of the Snyder/Cerrato era.

Which is why you can't be negative about it. Get something vs nothing for a guy. And if you're all about critisizing late round draft picks or UDFA's, I'm so glad that the Skins only go after first and 2nd rounders like the London Fletchers of the world. :P

I was hoping we could get a player to player trade but i have not found any news for sure to say if it's a draft pick or player. Bet. it will be a draft pick. The worst part is Im not a very big fan of Cedrick Griffin who will be taking his place.

There is still much to clean up from the era and I am happy with anything they can get. Say it turns into another late round kid with potential like we've seen in the last few drafts.

Bruce and Mike have said that unless they're in the Super Bowl, they want to coach the Senior Bowl again next year. This allows them an opportunity to work with and coach against guys who are coming out in the draft. There's no better scouting than that.

Like for example Alfred Morris (6th rounder we got for McNabb).

Times have changed.

Colts traded for Justin Tryon before final cuts in 2010.

You are still right that times have changed, because I think there might be some more trades coming before the deadline.

Guess we'll have to wait to see about compensation if he makes the roster.

 really?
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
