Gold Pants!
Was anyone else delightfully surprised that the gold pants are still available for the team to wear? I was worried that they'd be axed because of the throwback uni's selected for the 80th anniversary.
Two questions -
Does this mean that we'll wear gold pants for away games this year?
Any word on the Golden "R" helmet being used this year?

That's fine, and all... but unfixing it would be... well... inaccurate.SouthLondonRedskin wrote:Unfix it!Deadskins wrote:Fixed it for you.SouthLondonRedskin wrote:Burgundy jerseys and gold pants
Classic.
Smart.
Historical.
White jerseys and burgundy pants all the way baby!!!
Gold pants are MORE Classic... and MORE Historical...

OK, I hear you, but I'm talking Super Bowl history, not pre-merger history. We won three Super Bowls in white with burgundy pants, those images of Riggins, Williams and Rypien are what sets us apart from the rest.Countertrey wrote:SouthLondonRedskin wrote:Unfix it!Deadskins wrote: Fixed it for you.

All burgundy - just awful
All white - Dull
Burgundy with white pants - plain
Burgundy with gold pants - nice
White with burgundy pants - Winners.
That's my take on it anyways....

There could be no end of reasons why they'd kick the crap out of you, there's just no point speculating...
I left out the white jersey and gold pants combo we wore last game from my list, that is better than burgundy with white pants and not as good as burgundy with gold pants.
I'm glad we've settled that...

Do us a favor, and run some tests on this theory... get back to us with the results. We all want to know!UK Skins Fan wrote:If I was to walk into my local pub wearing gold trousers and burgundy sweater, I guarantee I'd get the crap kicked out of me......
To be fair, it might be because they all hate me.

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I can excuse Jock being so vindictive. After all, his Aussie Olympic team has had a bit of a stinker this time around, whilst the mother country has been whooping it up big style.Countertrey wrote:High def, and multiple angles, please.SkinsJock wrote:actually ... a video of the whole scene might be beneficialCountertrey wrote: Do us a favor, and run some tests on this theory... get back to us with the results. No excuse for you though 'Trey, apart from the fact that I suspect you had a difficult childhood

I can't ever see me wearing gold "pants". Only possible justification would be if I took up golf again. But that's very unlikely, on account of the fact that I found I can throw a three wood further than I can hit the bloody ball with it. And I put this into practice on numerous occasions out on the course.

^ My childhood was filled with the daily terror of Welch's milk tax at Bunker Hill Elementary (the school it's self a testimony to our first national victory over a certain monarchy, btw)... it was awful, and resulted in the monster that I am today.
You got that video, yet?

I NEVER took CT's lunch money!! I swear by the memory of Sammy Baugh. Now maybe I "punished" CT for complaining that the Nats should have kept Gil Coan...instead of trading Coan to the Browns/Orioles for Roy Sievers, future AL HR champ...1957)Countertrey wrote:^ My childhood was filled with the daily terror of Welch's milk tax at Bunker Hill Elementary (the school it's self a testimony to our first national victory over a certain monarchy, btw)... it was awful, and resulted in the monster that I am today.

I wonder exactly what it was about "her" appearance that sparked the idea of testing for PEDs?
