Did anyone else here RGIII say Retarded on TV
I was watching the live post game on Comcast and they were talking to RGIII after the game. They ask him a question and he answered it with something like, " that's Retadred". Then he tried to change it. The press is going to eat this up.

So what!
It is retarded that we can't say retarded any more.
Kobie got crushed for calling a ref a fag and he didn't even think he was on air. That was so over blown, it was retarded.
I hate living in a world where you have to worry about saying things like retarded and fag. I don't mean calling a retard retarded our calling a fag a fag,, because obviously that isn't cool, but using them like RG3 and or Kobie did.
Heck a couple of years ago my son was at his older sisters soccer practice and was running goofy gie kids do sometimes and yelled at him, "Stop running like a retard" and the coach was told me (while laughing) that I want being PC. And of course I told him I really don't care and I don't.

YUP .....our Golden Boy FINALLY made a verbal/media mistake... Oh my, the sky is falling.
That's how "college" kids talk.........just a residual effect of being young.
I could see RGIII started to fumble his words after THAT because I'm sure he wanted to back track.....but thought better of highlighting the "word" retarded.

actually, it's relatively easy

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I agree, he's just a kid and you can tell he was excited about the night. He knew he screw up and he corrected himself on the fly by using a another word. I just didn't want the the press come after him. I remember when one of favorite movies Tropic Thunder used the "R word", everyone made a big deal. I 've seen a few post, the press are concerned about the pre season games, which they should be. If they did make a big deal out of it, RGIII would say the right thing. Kid is made of teflon...

I understand everyone has their pet peeves, but it would be awesome if everyone in society would get off their high horse with the political correctness.
RG3 was not calling any person retarded,he was reffering to the situation as being retarded.
People are way too sensative. I give it 5-10 yrs and people won't be able to use the term "Mentally Challenged" because some one will have decided it too is offensive because it points out their illness.
.....did you hear so and so use the term "short" when they reffered to Banks, I was offended. Did you hear the announcers say the OL was 365lbs? they basically called him fat. that was offensive. etc. etc.

Agreed. It undermine's the legitimate rage that should be generated for the use of words that are clearly not ok to use.
Gay, retarded, midget, deaf, urban, etc. get way WAAAAAYYYYY too many people's panties all in a twist.
I know he got a pretty good zip on the ball. He has a quick release. . . once I seen a coupla' throws, I was just like 'Yeah, he's that dude.'"

aw, shucks, he simply misspoke. What he meant to say was 'that would be stupid as sh**, what dumb mammy grabber thought of that?' He was just distracted by Kim KardASSian making googly eyes at him.

The only place I've seen any concern about this is from this thread. Done.Irn-Bru wrote:OMG, this is the worst they can come up with on him?
Actually, this is the first thing I've ever heard of when RGIII didn't say something that sounded scripted for him by a PR whiz. I guess everyone's human.

Yeah, it's pretty gay
To be honest... I was thinking it was more queer than gay... but you seem to have the momentum....
