Kirk Cousins

Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

I'm completely with you man. I don't expect the Skins to get anything in a trade for Rex, but there may be some tough decisions to make getting the roster down to 53. Maybe by letting Rex go, you get to hang on to one of those young players.

Everybody seems to be ok with RGIII learning on the job this year. Why not take your lumps with developing Cousins at the same time?

This is really a no brainer - Grossman is ONLY here to help the other 2 to get ready to play

there is NO reason to get rid of him ..... yet
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

You "might"???

You will!!!
LMAO!

"You will" is definitely more accurate!

I could see him hanging on a 2nd and 3rd year, especially if he brings much value in a quasi-coaching role. I suspect that's not Rex's strength, though.

especially the Rams.

Why not take your lumps with developing Cousins at the same time?
because that doesn't happen, that's why. no veteran head coach , who is paid millions of dollars, to make a football team entertain a football teams customers for 8 Sunday's a year is going to "just take his lumps"

owner: so why don't we have an experienced backup now that the starter is hurt?
coach: well, were just gonna take our lumps this year boss. like last year. and the year before. by the way, when do I get paid?

if you don't think so, I'll be willing to bet you 2,000 bucks right now that grossman is the backup, provided he's healthy, on week one?

serious bets only.

hmm...nope, I cant agree with you. seems like it is you with the preoccupation of the cleveland team which suggests you're the browns fan or the ex browns fan now switching to washington.

interesting stuff.

Reminder: Please keep things on topic. Addressing the person (and not the post) is considered a personal attack and not permitted outside the Smack Forum.

(Some here on THN might also suggest that the most effective means for dealing with trolling is to ignore it, pointing to the increase in trolling attempts that correlate with the attention such posts receive. But I leave that matter to individual THN board members who can decide how to react for themselves.)

ok ...I tone it down. You know the poster is not bringing any good to the board. Yes i see the ignore part but when it doesnt work at all... it should be obvious that this dude is not going to leave.

Free debate I can see but again it should be obvious that is not his plan.

Just my thoughts.

I'm positive I started this thread about Kirk Cousins to discuss him and his back up role to RGIII, hell even vis a vis Sex Cannon is cool with me, when did we degenerate to talking about the browns and responding to off topic posters?
I know he got a pretty good zip on the ball. He has a quick release. . . once I seen a coupla' throws, I was just like 'Yeah, he's that dude.'"

You should have just stayed on topic...

The topic being Kirk Cousins... and we all know he's better than any QB on the Brownies roster :D
