Opinions and POVs are in fact like buttholes, everyone does have one and most of them stink.
It is very interesting that the NFLPA waited for concrete evidence (i.e. the penalty against the skins and girls for not colluding+ the arbitration dismissal on the grounds of NFLPA signing off on it) of collusion to bring this suit which would have been laughed out of court without this evidence. Another POV is that the NFLPA knew exactly what it was doing . . . painting the League into such a cluster-f'd corner that they can't win no matter what they do.
I'm proud to be a fan of one of 4 teams that didn't agree to this absurdity. There's not a worse looking owner on the planet than Mara, which is incredible given how well his franchise is doing right now. Talk about THE POSTER boy for greed, corruption and egomania! I'm even prouder that anyone with a brain can see the immorality of this and is on the 'skins' and cowgirls' (and soon to be NFLPA's) side in this.
Wow.

I know he got a pretty good zip on the ball. He has a quick release. . . once I seen a coupla' throws, I was just like 'Yeah, he's that dude.'"

The problem is, about a 1/3 of the NFL teams used the "uncapped" year to gain a competative advantage by either over spending, restructuring deals to negate later cap hits, or just plain not spending any money.
Yet only the division rivals of that venDICtive little "richard head" John Mara got money removed from their cap.
This was about revenge and making people (Mara) that got POed because we folowed the letter of the law instead of breaking the law feel better about themselves!
AND boy what a mess the NFL has made for themselves by letting emotions control their actions!

With arbitration, this whole mess was kept within the NFL. NFLPA’s case was filed in the federal court in Minnesota that oversaw the sport’s previous collective bargaining agreement.
It appears that to prevail in the arbitration with the Skins & Boys, Mara and Co. had to show 'an agreement among the teams' ... collusion. Now their position is being used against them.
This is spinning out of NFL's sphere of control. Mara's gotta be sorry that he pushed for the course of action that he did.
He's probably pissed that he wasn't in a position to get rid of dead money like the Skins did.

the giants are run differently than the redskins. the giants win division titles and super bowls. the redskins own the rights to the doormat in the NFC east.
the giants don't have the kind of dead cap money problems a team like the redskins have. besides ...the Mara and the giants are too busy buying an expensive new trophy case to house all their recent championships.

This.
You're referring to the wrong UK fan. Understandable, as there are two of us to keep track of. Lol.
Right, SLR and Manchester Redskin.

A spokesman for UK Skins Fan, speaking on condition of anonymity on account of the fact he didn't know what he was talking about, said:
He went on to say some other stuff about goats, and an unusual reference to knockwurst, but that was deemed to be silly. It may however be addressed in a future lawsuit: Goodell and Mara vs Slimey Knockwurst.
There was no foolishness, there has been no foolishness. However, no agreement to restrict foolishness has been in place either. However, somebody has been found guilty of being more foolish than others and this is not in the spirit of the non-restrictive foolishness clause of the recent settlement between......bla bla bla bla bla.
