I still feel like we can hit 8-8 although if they get their pride back and can play like we all know they can, there is a possibility of 9-7.
I have two feelings, one rooting them on to run the table, one to stall and crash and burn to get a top 5 DT. ::shrug:: At 4-5 it's easy enough to think in that manner. How many teams have we all seen sit in that 7-9 to 9-7 land year after year until they dismantle and rebuild. One or two more big pieces like another Russell type tackle and some better backup corners would be huge keys to seeing this team on the top for a few years.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here...the Seattle win was infectious and will carry over to a Carolina win. If that does happen, then...
Miami W
New Orleans W
Giants W
Dallas W
Chicago W
Philly L
It seems Carolina is our last true obstacle to turning this thing around. Miami is awful right now, and Philly just wants it enouph to not lose. I could be dead wrong, but I think this turn around if we take Carolina...

I'll have to leave south jersey if we don't beat the eagles at the end of the season. Ironically, I'm going to that game and the skins have a pretty good record when HitDoctor and HitDoctor Sr. are in attendance. So skinz 74, this means we run the table!
I agree, when we beat Carolina this thing is going to turn around, and watch out, because the crackwagon is going to get beat by New England ( Please God Please). And then we start picking them off one at a time, the main goal is Carolina, stop Davis and stop Carolina, as long as we block like we did against Seattle P-Ram will be fine. We don't lose the rest of the season, it is nice to dream isn't it. We will see how this plays out, but it is not how you start, but how you finish, all wait we started great and slumped now, so we need to finish strong.
The only reason I picked us to lose that last one to Philly is because I was afraid we might run out of gas...but I know on any given Sunday we have the talent to beat any of those teams...none of them are playing like Superbowl contenders. BTW, I hope your presence does give us the big W against Philly, HitDoctor. I've had the unfortunate experience of 3 games and 3 losses. Colts, and 2 Jaguars embarresments.
Not real sure if I'm happy that Rock's not starting and Trung is. We really need to pound the ball against Carolina's line to keep the rush off and I think Rock's strength and N/S running would be a better choice over Trung's speed. Besides, he's just coming off an injury and probably isn't %100. I'd love to be wrong with a Win, but we'll see how this one works out...

That four game losing streak hurt us. We should have won the Tampa game, the Giants game and the Phili game. Dallas was pathetic, we should have slaughterd them!
One more loss and we're done. This is that wildcard game (Miami). A win tonight, and the rest of the season is smooth sailing......not that smooth. Things haven't been that smooth since the days of Gibbs.
I went from sitting on the edge of my seat during the Jets/Atlanta/Giants/Patriots games to being sucked into it trying to escape the horror of penalties, no pass rush(and no rush of ours offensively for that matter,) and an offensive line that won't help Ramsey up after he's been creamed. Every glimmer of hope that we've had this season has been like a crack fix...only good enough to subside the pain temporarily. How they play against Miami tonite will pretty much set their fate this season. Prediction:
My feeling now is SICK. Revised season final record is 8-8. Not gonna make the playoffs now. Obvious. I am with them till the end, but I think this is now the end...of the season. Time to start playing backups and giving Hasselbeck a chance to excel like he did tonite. Dung did well, as much as I hate to admit it. Morton did too. I had to hit the toilet when we botched the punt. Would like that gentleman's head on a stick for X-mas.
