 ALL of these guys have talent - they are the top 200+ players coming out of college

thankfully for the Redskins, those fans (and dumb and dumber) are not running things here

this FO and the group supporting them are ONLY looking to add players that suit what we need - NOT players with talent

this franchise is heading in the right direction again BECAUSE we don't just add the best player available

GOTTA LOVE this FO :D

I couldn't disagree more with both points you made. I think Bruce and Mike are bringing in the BPA. The difference between they and Vinny is that they actually know who the BPA is.

Heard on ESPN 980 that MAyock likes Josh LeRibeus and that a few folks have been saying that the Chiefs were going to take him with their next pick.

Kirk Cousins? Interesting.

Who saw Kirk Cousins coming? Puzzling!!! Did they pick him for someone else? The heir apparent to Grossman. Goodbye John Beck. Thoughts in my head concerning this pick.

Interesting pick with Massie still there. We did need a back up after we cut Grossman after this season.

I like the point that Mayock made. This guy could be worth some picks in a trade later on, like a Kevin Kolb. Or the guy from GreenBay that we were rumored to pursue.

I am thinking that we are done with O line until the 7th round if even that.

Cousins said that Shannahan told him that he was too good to pass up at that spot.

On a more important note - Who was that girl who made the pick?

I wasn't expecting the Skins to draft a QB but Mayock brought some rationale to it.

- Who really wants RGI backing up RGIII for the long term? RGIII very well could get hurt. They've solidified the QB position and QB depth with this pick.

- IF he develops, you have potential trade bait in 2-3 years. This is a QB starved league. If he stands in for an injured RGIII and shows off....that's a 2nd round pick for us.

- They took a good player at the position.

- They provided depth and solidified the QB position.

- He could be viewed as an investment IF he shines. A 4th round pick, could turn into a first or a second.

Remember way back when.... I said we were soooooo bad QB we need to bring in 2 or 3 new ones? RGIII and Cousins (projected 2nd rounder) isn't a bad move. Do they keep both? Who knows, was it a good value pick? definitely

Blake is gone to the Broncos. Kinda ironic. He goes to RGIII's former favorite team.

So we swapped 4ths and got an additional 6th?

Not a fan of our 3rd round pick, but the Cousins pick was really smart IMO. As much as we all like RGIII, he isn't a guaranteed success and this move gives us good depth, plus puts us in a position to get some value in a possible trade if Cousins develops well.

the redskins appear ( gotta watch em play first) but at first take appear to be upholding a.long, long upstanding Snyder legacy, of making the splash in the first round and then drafting garbage the rest of the way. it's what separates the teams that matter in the NFL to the teams that don't (like washington)

bpa- bs. first of all, even that is arguable but bpa available is a luxury style for the good teams in the NFL, like e giants who are killing it in this years draft, like usual.

for garbage teams like Washington, they have to solve MAJOR needs and this was typical of how bad the redskins are run. theyll probably draft something else useless coming up like a te or something.

there's a reason both Bruce Allen and mike shanahan were both fired in their last jobs , both for similar reasons.

fail. as usual.

probably the angriest person of all is Kirk cousins himself, who knows he's got a dead end job with his current employer and his chance of prosperity hangs on him wishing for the other guy to get hurt.

it's rounds 3-7 why the redskins are a failed organization and other 3 teams in their division are putting even more space between them and the perennial last place skins.
