He wants to go back to Miami and Indy cant afford him and Marvin and Payton.
The Fins will get someone to get through this season...There will be a new coach and RB in Miami next spring.
Another possibility is Travis Henry and Shawn Alexander, but the Seahawks will likely keep Alexander if they can and Henry is an AFC Rival...so the Bills dont want to help the Fins.
Right now it looks like A-Train...or the Fins will go with journey men then get James next season when he becomes a free agent.

I think you're actually right on everything except Shaun Alexander. I think he's sticking around, because Maurice Morris can't fill his shoes, and Kerry Carter's a joke. Tellis Redmon is a bench-warmer in the NFL.
Henry might make sense or even McGahee (back to Miami he goes!). The Bills could use a good defensive end as both of theirs are mediocre at best. That might put their defense over the top on talent, actually. I wouldn't be surprised if McGahee was traded to Miami for Ogunleye, not one bit. And it would be a good trade for both sides, I think.
Thomas seems most likely to go right now, but we'll see. I don't think Michael Bennett (the one who'd most likely be traded to Miami) would be able to run the same way Ricky Williams did down there. They'd have to completely change most of the running plays in the playbook to benefit a finesse runner like Bennett as opposed to the power style of Williams. This is also why Thomas makes the most sense.
If I were the Colts and I had enough confidence in Mungro and Rhodes (remember Rhodes rushed for over 1,000 yards the season that James was out), and I think they do have enough confidence in them (and the OTHER Ricky Williams, if they still have him under contract), I would trade James now and try to get something for him rather than let him go for nothing during the off-season next year. The Dolphins have more than enough cornerbacks, maybe they can swing a blockbuster deal. James is a top-flight RB in this league, lest we forget due to Indianapolis' passing attack. Maybe, if some picks were involved, they could get Patrick Surtain. That would certainly help at CB, which is a sure-fire weak spot in Indy's defense, even though I guess the CBs aren't that important in Dungy's Cover 2. Who knows.
