Reports: Colts tell Luck he's their man
Colts have decided who will be the top pick in the 2012 draft. From Adam Schefter via Twitter:
No great surprise, it's what most expected, but Colts have told Andrew Luck they will take him with the No. 1 overall pick, per NFL source.
As Schefter said, this isn’t exactly breaking news as the Colts have been widely expected to draft Luck since sometime in November. But this should calm the nerves of some Redskins fans who have been terrified that the Colts would cross up the Redskins and draft Robert Griffin III, forcing Washington to “settle” for Luck.
Update: Bob Kravitz of the Indianapolis Star independently confirmed Schefter's report.
I'll believe it when the Redskins make the draft pick. Until then, I'll be hapy with either Luck or RGIII.
(And will hope that neither is like Jack Scarbath, University of Maryland Heisman runner-up, picked at number 2 or 3 by the Rddskins in the early '50s. Never heard of Scarbath?)

There is no doubt that Andrew Luck is going to the Colts and there really never was
Luck is the better QB and will show that he's one of the best to play the game - he's that good and he's going to be great
We are so lucky to get Robert Griffin III and that is the QB that Mike wanted - why would you only trade up to the #2 slot if you wanted Luck
We said it a long time ago - Robert Griffin III is going to play QB for the Redskins
Hopefully these guys can get him ready and ensure that he gets to be the great QB he's going to be
Robert Griffin III is going to one of the best Redskins QBs EVER
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

FINALLY, the retardacity (i know, it works anyway) is over. Colts get Lucky, Redskins get Stiff. (yeah, we're gonna have to come up with something else, that really doesn't work).
I know he got a pretty good zip on the ball. He has a quick release. . . once I seen a coupla' throws, I was just like 'Yeah, he's that dude.'"

There's just a little pressure on Kyle to help this kid be as good as he can be here
this is a fantastic opportunity for this franchise and for the Redskins' offense
Hey Kyle - DON'T SCREW THIS UP
