Aha! Sadly, I have always thought that green and white is a colour combination that does not belong on a football shirt, lol. And I am therefore forced to choose Rangers as my Glasgow team. However, I have such a distaste for the whole tribal pantomime that is the Old Firm game that I really don't pay much attention any more.

I was only ever really interested when Rangers were dominated by the English players!

I breathed a sigh of relief that you didn't reveal yourself to be a Millwall supporter - the south London thing, plus a dislike of West Ham and Fat Sam had me worried. The Millwall fans were the only ones to have truly disgraced themselves by their behaviour at The Amex this season, although the Palace fans were of course loathsome too.

I'll forgive your transgressions north of the border and put it down to naivety!

I was brought up in Deptford which is real Millwall territory but they just didn't do it for me. I fell in love with Chelsea when my uncle took me to see them play Fulham away in 1982 and they won 5-3, a result which helped them stay up in old division two by the skin of their teeth. So unlike all these annoying glory hunters that have latched on to us since we became successful, I've followed Chelsea from the lowest point in their history!

I do have a little soft spot for Millwall and usually pop along once a season to see a few old mates and because it's so much cheaper than Chelsea I can actually afford to take my kids! It's always, how shall I put it?, a little lively there. I can imagine what they were like at the Amex!

I now live near Palace, and sometimes have to work with them, which is a shame because they are the most unorganised shower of muppets I've ever had to work with!

You can imagine how "pleased" I was when Palace won 3-1 at The Amex earlier in the season, lol. It was the same day the Redskins lost to the Pukes. Black Tuesday.

What's happening fella???

Have the wheels come off or is Gus gonna turn it around...????

Southampton and Reading to go up I reckon, hopefully you'll put West Ham out of the playoffs!

Wheels haven't come off matey, we're just struggling to convert good general play into goals. We absolutely played Reading off the park on Tuesday, but hit the bar, missed one penalty, had at least three other penalty appeals ignored (two of them looked like good shouts to me), and had another couple of efforts saved brilliantly by Federici, who I reckon is the best keeper in the division. And their goal was a deflected free kick, in the sort of style that you'd expect from a German team!

I think we need to win all four remaining games now to be in with a shout, so not looking likely. But a great season anyway. Don't bet against us beating Fat Sam's hoof-it-and-run merchants on Saturday either ;-)

Southampton and Reading are nailed on, with Birmingham to beat West Ham in the playoff final ;-)

I think you may still make it, Cardiff are chokers remember!

I'm dreading the next few days, our season is about to go pear-shaped big time!

We have the scum from the lane in the FA Cup semi-final and the best team in the world in the Champions League three days later! So thanks to the money-grabbing genius of the English FA, rather than play the cup semi on the Friday night or Saturday afternoon we instead have a 6pm start on Sunday evening. We're the last English representative in Europe and that's how they back us!!!

We played Napoli and the Italian FA moved their games from Sunday to the Friday before just to give them extra time to prepare!

So we have thousands of scousers catching a 7am train to London to play each other at midday on Saturday whilst we get the latest possible time to play our game ahead of a match against Barcelona.

I can see us resting players and going out of the cup on Sunday and then going out bravely against Barca after a valient effort.

In between the Barca games we go to Arsenal in the league, so with an eye on the return at the Camp Neu we'll no doubt cement our place outside of the top four as well with defeat there!!!

I just hope Di Matteo has a master plan....

Well, I think I'll gloss over yesterday's trip to Upton Park, lol. I think the wheels have now come off of our promotion bus, and our lack of power and strength throughout the team is starting to finally take it's toll. No matter - a few key acquisitions in the offseason, and we could be there or thereabouts next season. Keeping Vicente would be huge for us too, but I'm not sure if that will be possible.

The whole idea of playing both FA Cup semis at Wembley is appalling to me, and the fact that they are both played on different days is even worse. It would have been far too sensible and considerate to have the Liverpool v Everton at Old Trafford, of course. And the Chelsea v Tottenham game could have been at The Emirates.

Football supporters come a long way down the list of priorities for the authorities.

Last year's promotion campaign ground to a halt in April, but this year's version is off to a storming start :-) Top of the league this morning, yes sir!

An RGIII-like performance by my boys last night to see off Sheffield Wednesday by 3 goals to nil.

The stadium has now been expanded to a capacity of 27,500, the noise is fantastic, and the football is a joy to watch. Happy days :-)

Oh, and did I mention our 3-1 victory over the European Champions from Chelsea during preseason?

Well done, I hope it continues for you.

But noone is really interested in your silly little win over a jet-lagged team of Chelsea reserves in preseason.....

Ha ha - I was wondering when that little dig would appear on your radar ;-)

Don't know what Noone has to do with it though - we sold him to Cardiff ;-)
