I know it was a "highlight" vid... but again and again, no matter what vid I look at... deep passes... In stride... in stride... and again, in stride.
and, the change of direction when he pulls the ball down... wow.

tears of joy
I almost tear up every time I see RGIII throw the long ball and hit his receiver in stride.....beautiful.

Found this video on RGIII. Funny spoof on the Dos XX commercials, but what really stood out for me is the stat that that in the 2011 season, he threw more TD's (13) than incompletions (12)!
Now THAT's accuracy!!!
One month to go...

That was around mid season maybe earlier.. I think it got up to 18 and 18. Jus sayin at the end of the season that utterly insane stat wasn't the same. While he is amazingly accurate and put up good numbers, he (Or any qb ever) couldn't keep that stat going. The video was filmed during the season apparently.

Fair enough. My bad, but still, to even go through a portion of the season with that kind of stat is impressive as it relates to his accuracy.
(Maybe it's because I spent last season hoping our QB would throw more incompletions than interceptions.

He looks a lot FASTER than Vick, and at least as elusive. I will be disappointed if we end up settling for Luck. What a great scenario. Hope it plays out the way we all anticipate.

I just pray that Irsay and the Colts don't feel the same.

Seriously, although I know we'd be just fine (even better if you listen to some critics) if we got Andrew Luck, my heart has really gotten set on RGIII.
His character, demeanor and physical attributes are something the Skins need to really turn the franchise around.
Through our ups and downs over the past 20 or so years, we've been pretty "ho-hum" as far as excitement goes.
I think Griffin's "X-factor" playmaking abilities are the shot in the arm we need to make the league take notice that there's still a football team in our nations capital... fear us.

What RG3 did at 1:45 is what really impressed me. He laid on the line all the time this past year.
PLEASE
we ARE getting RG3 and the ONLY similarity between Vick and RG3 is that both are black QBs
RG3 is not at all similar to Michael Vick in any other way
Vick is a very limited QB when compared to many other QBs and he's not at all close in style of play to RG3
please stop showing that you don't have a clue about how QBs play the game

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Vick is elusive as hell, but he has a small bag of tricks (please... there is no double entendre here... ). The league watched him... and has figured out how to defend him...Kilmer72 wrote:Not sure what happen to Vick last year but the year before that, he looked awful scary. Hoping for more of the same because that man is still dangerous.
