Redskins Expected Complete Deal With Cooley Tommorow

Post by Jake »

Redskins Note: The Redskins are expected to announce a deal with tight end Chris Cooley, their third-round pick, by tomorrow. Sources said he has agreed to most of a four-year contract in principle, but team officials and Cooley's representative said the contract had not been completed as of yesterday.

Got that right

Sources said he has agreed to most of a four-year contract in principle, but team officials and Cooley's representative said the contract had not been completed as of yesterday.

I hope this is not a red flag for a future problematic..the dude got drafted in the third round for pete's sake...this guy and the Skins have been "negotiating" for over a week now..it's going to take Taylor what 3 or 4 days of dealing for him to sign (that is assuming and hoping he's inked in by Monday as predicted) Cooley needs to finalize it, sign it and get ready for next week..Bottom line
Hail to the Redskins...Hail Victory!!!

So let's suppose that Cooley and Taylor sign soon, as is reported. That makes two for us, gambit, is that good enough for you yet?

I would say that the Skins are handling their draft pickes better than Dallas, but with all that smack coming out of your cowpuke mouth it sounds like your cowboys are miles ahead of us. I guess I'll just let the news reports do the talking from now on.

Hope it's a one - two punch - Cooley then Taylor. That should just about wrap things up so we can enter camp without that as a distraction.

Cooley and Taylor are the last two so that will make ALL for us and NONE for that team in Texas!
