David DeCastro, 6-5, 316
DeCastro was a dominant force in 2011. A fabulous run blocker, he shoves defensive linemen around at the line of scrimmage and gets to the second level of the defense to hit blocks on linebackers. DeCastro pulls extremely well to hit defenders on the run. He also is an excellent pass blocker.

Cordy Glenn, 6-5, 345
As a senior, Glenn was a starter at left tackle. In many games in 2011, Glenn was dominant. He has the power, quick feet and long arms to make him a balanced blocker. Glenn had no problem opening holes in the ground game, and generally was a good pass protector.

Kelechi Osemele, 6-6, 333
Osemele put together an excellent 2011 season. Iowa State had him at left tackle, and he played well there. Osemele is a very good athlete for his size who has the ability to slide and mirror pass rushers. He has long arms, quick feet and carries his weight well. Matching up against Oklahoma's Frank Alexander, Osmele held him without a sack. He has the power to run defenders over in the ground game. While Osmele could play right tackle in the NFL, his best fit could be inside at guard.

Kevin Zeitler, 6-4, 314
The senior did a fabulous job paving the way for running back Montee Ball. Zeitler is strong at the point of attack and has no issues blasting open running lanes. He has more mobility and athletic ability than one might think. Zeitler did a good job of hitting blocks on the second level and in the open field on screen passes. He also did a solid job in pass protection for quarterback Russell Wilson.

Amini Silatolu, 6-4, 311
At the Senior Bowl, Bergstrom showed showed off some nice power and quality athleticism. He held his own against the defensive linemen that other All-Stars were struggling with. Bergstrom has the strength to anchor against bull rushes while his time playing on the edge helped him to slide with speed rushers. The senior was a first-team all Pac-12 selection in 2011. He was a three-year starter at right tackle for the Utes. In the NFL, Bergstrom would probably be better off if he moved inside to guard.

Brandon Washington, 6-3, 320
After being a 2010 All-ACC pick at guard, Miami moved Washington to left tackle after Seantrel Henderson was injured. Washington had a mixed season at left tackle. He did a quality job of run blocking for Hurricanes running back Lamar Miller. Washington has a nice combination of power and mobility, but he belongs on the inside.

Brandon Brooks, 6-5, 346
Brooks surprisingly did not receive an invitation to the Combine. He was one of the standouts of the East-West Shrine with a phenomenal week of practice. The powerful Brooks pushed defensive linemen around while showing real athleticism. He performed well at his pro day and put up some impressive numbers.

All these guys are projected to start in the NFL eventually. I've yellow highlighted those projected to go after the 2nd round.

We're taking RG3 in the 1st and we don't have a 2nd.

That's y he highlighted the ones that he thought would be there after the 2nd round. I would love to get Kelechi Osemele but I doubt if he'll be there. Even though he's pretty big he's definitely athletic enough to play in the ZBS and can play RT and G which would be perfect for us. I think Shanny coached Silatolu in the Senior Bowl so he could definitely be a possibility

Also, Nate Potter of Boise State - he might slip. He played LT but could move inside to LG. He'd be perfect for what we do:

Nate Potter 6-6, 300

Strengths:
Proven pass protector
Good technique
Quick feet
Recoverability
Experienced
Mobility to hit blocks downfield
Very intelligent
Durable

Weaknesses:
A little light
Lacks power
Didn't regularly face elite competition
Lacks ability to drive block
Does not display any mean streak
Arm length?

Summary: Potter was a second-team AP All-America in 2011. He had another excellent season protecting quarterback Kellen Moore. Throughout the season, Potter put a string of dominant games together keeping Moore free of pass pressure. Potter is extremely light on his feet and is able to get back in his drop quickly. He mirrors pass-rushers well and is quick shuffling his feet.

Potter helped running back Doug Martin have a good season on the ground this year, but he definitely needs to make strides in the ground game for the NFL. He does a good job of getting to the second level of the defense and hitting blocks on the run, but he is not a drive blocker.

I'm really into Nate Potter I think he is an underrated prospect who could be a good starter with practice.

Guards don't usually get picked until the end of the 1st. Too muh money to allocate to that position to draft higher.

Glad our FO addressed the Oline in the draft. This may have been the biggest off season ever for the Skins if all goes as planned.
