you make it sound like this is a full time job. I'll remind you that I'm as new to this website as you are, having joined the same month as you...this month. and I don't use any other sites.

I wouldn't say their hand grenades. I like to present something unique to redskin fans. the viewpoint of reality.

a Skin fan since around 72, trust me that you will not sway me, or probably most of the others here,

oh yours is the indestructible kind, I already know that going in. I don't have expectations of people saying "oh yeah he's right". fighting upstream against fans is an impossibility. people's emotions are tied with the sports teams they root for, it's part of their identity. if I say the redskins suck, it's pretty much like telling a fan that THEY suck.

that's why I believe there's so many fights at those sports bars where all the different teams fans come in on Sunday's to watch. but, I'm here like the next guy is here. I'm gonna talk about something I have feelings about....just like you or the next guy. my feelings, though, aren't served with a cold glass of Kool aid.

to your train of thought and logic merely by reminding us of our recent history.....I mean, no kidding, we have been bad.

this is where we get into areas where we can debate. I can tell you know your game. I'm not talking football, either, I'm sure you're well versed in that too. but you got solid debating game. and that more than anything is what brings me here.

it's not a case of "merely". I'm sorry, you don't get to shrug it off like that. because I'm using that in context of people's insidious claims about who the redskins are mow, why their organzation is so great now, and why everything is going to be great moving forward. I'd like to represent the voice of reason and suggest an alternative behavior...one that is classier and more representative to what I UsED to think of redskin fans.........you been the offseason storyline followed by the regular season embarrassment for so long now, try a different approach, for once. win something first...then talk about how you're coming for your divison.

But, with firing of Cerrato
hiring of Allen, Shanahan (and I am not a huge Shanny fan), the skewing of the team both younger and quicker, the draft picks last year, the riddance of bad decisions like Fat Albert, the signing of a couple of young and potentially great receivers, and now prospect of getting either RGIII or Luck......certainly there is hope in the future. A true fan (short for fanatic) could not help but be excited.

I could pick at everything u mention there but I'll agree on it's surface for the sake of agreeing. its certainly fair enough. so long as you agree that this team has staked this future you mention to the right arm of a 22 year old college kid playing in a suspect offensive system for pro qbs inside a conference that not many think is all that tough to play against. I mean, I understand why he's a top qb coming out. just like I understood why both Peyton manning was but also Andre ware, too.

Funny.that in nm we got sooo much puke fans, yet the majority of them (our arch rivals) can admit regardless of all moves the shanny has done:
A. We are Much younger
B. We are way faster
And most importantly we are- regardless of bust or gain- are
C. Trying to be better/ different then years past.

Tribe, dude, that's not fair. Give dog feces a break!
I know he got a pretty good zip on the ball. He has a quick release. . . once I seen a coupla' throws, I was just like 'Yeah, he's that dude.'"

How anyone can predict the failure of RGIII before he's even stepped out on an NFL field is beyong me. Pure garbage.

sooner or later the poster is going to face a slightly different reality

she's welcome here but she needs to abide by the rules - just like all of us

Boss Hog (and others) are a little busy right now, but hell hath no fury like the staff here, when you break the rules

there's no doubt about our record and what has happened here and how we've all hoped that things would turn around

the new guys are just getting started and anyone should see that despite the hole we were in, we are getting better

Robert Griffin III's arrival is a key player at the most important position on the field - we are going to be a whole lot better and soon
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
