I'm assuming this is because Landry is going to be leaving the team?

I want this guy back...

The Redskins have a long history of memorable, hard hitting, or really smart safeties...
Sam Baugh, Brig Owens, Ken Houston, Richie Petibon, Mark Murphy, Alvin Walton, Sean Taylor, Laron Landry. A good safety can make a huge difference in your defense, because they let the DC take risks he otherwise would not take...

Is that Merriweather? hmmmmmm...

You are clearly talking about T-bone. I think TWSS was talking about the new guy.

I don't really give a crap as long as he stays on the field. If he's healthy, its hard to envision he's worse than what we got.

Meriweather was a liability with NE (played dirty, led with helmet) and in Chicago he didn't fit the system.

Hope he can resurrect his career in Washington. He earned those two Pro-Bowl trips with 15 PD, 2 FF and 8 picks in two years.

You forgot Tony Peters. Yes he was a jail bird but..... He was great while he played I witnessed it.
