Well, the Steelers are not what they used to be, neither is Atlanta.

I think we beat:

split NFC east games
Falcons
Bucs
Browns
Steelers
Rams
Vikes

Panthers may make the playoffs next year, I'm glad we have them at home. Overall though other than the Saints I think the away schedule looks very beatable.

I think we definitely have the potential to go 10-6 with that schedule. I just hope to God we beat the Ravens this year so we can have bragging rights around this area for the next 3+ years.

Let's not kid ourselves. We are playing 6 games in the NFC East and 5 more against "playoff" teams.

Having said that, wouldn't 8-0 at home with road wins over the Bucs, Rams, and Ever Bland Clowns be awesome?

The way the league changes from one year to the next doesn't necessarily mean last years playoff teams are any more tougher than last season's non playoff teams.

True but it would be silly to ignore the fact that 4 of our non-division opponents are perrenial playoff teams, another made them last year with a rookie QB, another is on the rise with the rookie of the year (at least those last 2 are home games) and then (not that you did) say the schedule looks easy.

There is a strong correlation between # of perrenial playoff teams on a schedule and how tough it is - wouldn't you say?

You can never tell. Last year, I would have chalked up Carolina & Miami as wins, and probably guessed a split with NYG and Dallas.
SPIT HAPPENS!!

We did split with the G-strings and Cowpies, just not in the way you imagined.

with a sched like that, I'd say the winner of the east will be 9-7 again and the wild card will be out of division.
