If you were the Browns what would you do...?

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

If you were the Browns what would you do...?

So most people think that if the Browns want RGIII nobody else can compete because of their two picks in round 1.

But if you were in charge there, is that what you would actually want to do..???

They have so many needs, QB, RB, WR, OL, pretty much the whole offense to be fair, especially if Hillis is to leave, which it looks like he will.

Wouldn't the team make greater strides if they kept their picks and took say Trent Richardson at #4 and Ryan Tannehill at #22...?

They could follow that by adding to the OL and WRs in rounds 2,3, 4 and 5.

Their defense aint too shabby, with that injection of talent they could be competing next season.

I don't know what their cap space is like, maybe they can get some talent in from FA, but if not I can't see how they can give up so much for RGIII.

The point is RGIII will not be cheap, can they actually afford to go for him in terms of lost picks....?

(And yes, I am aware that people could be saying the same about us, however I don't believe we are as bad offensively as them and we should be pretty active in FA, I don't know if they will)

I would take RGIII if I could - the Browns don't seem to want to give up what it will take
the best indication will be when we all see how hard they go after Flynn

The Rams are hoping the Browns do not get Flynn
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I think people are voting no because they don't want the Browns to do this, not because they think they shouldn't.

I'd agree - I think the Browns don't want RGIII as badly as we do

They should do whatever's needed but I think that Fisher will bring their best offer to Shanahan and we'll get RGIII

The Browns are going to drive the price up but will not offer as much as Mike is prepared to

Well that's exactly what I don't want!

The point is if you were in charge at Cleveland what would make sense for them and their interests, not ours!

I'm trying to work out how likely it is that they go for RG3 or if they'll reckon that they need to keep those picks in fact.

The Browns want Griffin badly

The Browns will not make a stupid (in their estimation) deal for that pick

The Redskins will make a deal with the Rams - this FO will get the deal done

That's a very bold and confident statement! Do you know something we don't...???
