USATODAY: More praise for Joe

Joe Gibbs hopes to return winning attitude to Washington
By Brendan Burnett-Kurie, USATODAY.com

LANSDOWNE, Va. — Joe Gibbs is a winner. Four Super Bowl trips, including three world titles in 11 seasons as coach of the Washington Redskins, and two NASCAR championships for Joe Gibbs Racing attest to that. Now, 12 years after retiring from the sidelines, Gibbs is trying to reclaim his status as the best coach in professional football by leading the tumultuous Redskins back atop the NFC East.

How will he do? Whom better to ask than a pair of former Redskins greats who still have close ties to the team.

"He has great credibility, he's a great leader and he's back," said Hall of Fame linebacker and Redskins radio announcer Sam Huff from the Bobby Mitchell Hall of Fame Golf Classic to support The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. "He won three Super Bowls while he was here, and there's been no other Redskins coach who's been able to do that. He's back, the ballplayers know it, and they'll perform for him. He's a winner."

"I think all Redskins fans, the organization, and the team itself are going to witness something, and it's going to be very special," added Huff's radio partner and fellow Hall of Famer Sonny Jurgensen

I can't hear or read enough things like that. He wins, plain and simple. The guy has the golden touch, without the awful repercussions that happen in the fairy tale.

Welcome LALUVAH. Are you a Skins fan or Pats? I thought you could be a Skins fan that just uses the Pats helmet to distinguish your location. Or maybe you're just a Pat fan that can appreciate a great coach. Either way, glad to have you here.
You'll always be remembered Sean. R.I.P.

Well said CT.
As a fan of the last team to beat the Patriots (doesn't that mean head-to-head we are the better team?) I welcome you to Redskins country.

Anything that has quotes from the man is a good article by my standards.

And JSPB22, my friend and I have determined that the Redskins were actually world champions and runners up last year. After all, we were certainly better than the Pats, as anyone who watched week 4(?) would agree with. In addition, the only reason that Carolina was good anyway was due to Stephen Davis, who came from none other than DC.

So we say, champions AND runners up.
