I agree Hogster but you have to admit trading up for RGIII is temping. He might be a bust but then again he might be the best thing at QB draft for the next decade. If you get someone else and thy are a bust then it will be 4 QBs in 3 years. If the get RG and he is a bust at least they tried.

say what

did I miss something here ROTFALMAO

just amazing - and we have months more to go - I'm sure we'll see something even better
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Carl Nicks OG Saints
Vincent Jackson
Desean Jackson

We will need weapons on offense who can do something with the ball, and with limited draft picks, we will be back in the Free Agency sweepstakes which is not my idea of a winning formula.

I especially like the highlighted guys and would love to land them regardless. Would you feel the need for agression in FA more becuase we'd be missing picks or more becuase RGIII would need weapons, etc., or both?

I'm hoping landing RGIII would make what we have look better, we sprinkle in a guy or two of the type you speak above, and things get better fast on all fronts down the road as this becomes an exciting place to play football.

Well, what do you mean?
By trading up we will be missing some draft picks?

Not sure I understand there SJ. I still want to gamble on RGIII that has never wavered.

Maybe it's the pessimist in me, but I doubt Manning will come here and I see Cleveland trading up to take RGIII. Does that mean we go into the 2012 season with Rex Grossman/Kyle Orton starting week 1? I don't think I could take another season like last year, but (thanks to Barkley) the future still looks bleak to me.

RG3 - I do not believe will be the next mick vick
Tannehill - Needs a year or two
FA - nothing worth pursuing
MS - is a control freak and will not let his son be shown up by a QB
Shannohan has picked the QB he wants and will go get him on draft day

I believe it will be tannehill and will draft another one late on Saturday for a project

You're right, RGIII won't be the next Vick. He will be much better than Vick.

Drew Brees is a FA worth pursuing. Not that I think we can get him away from the Saints.

I don't understand the MS not allowing Kyle to be shown up comment.

I think we need to be aggressive either way. But, I think that we will need a QB who will inspire a guy like Vincent Jackson or Bowe to come to Washington.

I think we'd need to be more aggressive if we get RG3 because will will be giving up several young talented players with the picks.
SPIT HAPPENS!!

It won't work to get RG3 to persuade those guys because FA is before the Draft.
